aesthetic as fuark

I agree that too many young guys get disillusioned by the body building world and end up doing harm to themselves in the long term, but to use powerlifting as an alternative, and more positive influence on culture is confusing to me. Powerlifters and strongmen competitors aren't exactly the healthiest group in the world. They too use steroids and many of them stuff their mouths with copious amounts of unhealthy calories. Did I mention they abuse steroids too?

And to say that all bodybuilders put their health at risk isn't accurate. As far as steroids go, many people including body builders, power lifters, and average joes use doctor prescribed
steroids and are not risking their health at all. Its simply testosterone. You are generalizing. There is use and there is abuse. Admittedly and sadly, most younger guys abuse. So I agree, it is a problem, but power lifting is no better.

Truth is, you don't need to "pump yourself full of drugs" to look like Zyzz. You could very safely achieve that look if you have the genetics to do so. Zyzz went too far with the uppers from what I understand. No different than half the peeps reading this forum on addys.

How can you admire someone who was blatant about their use of illegal and unhealthy steroids and supps to the point that the supps literally made his heart explode?

It's not illegal to take steroids (in the UK at least). They are regularly prescribed by doctors for physical rehab and other things. All steroids do in essence is boost the amount of testosterone in your body, while others are there just to stop negative side effects. Nothing wrong with supplements, other than increased kidney function.

Whether he was blatant about it or not is irrelevant. You don't just take steroids and get buff. You still have to eat right and go to the gym religiously to look like he did, granted genetics helped him a lot. Doing it without steroid would have taken longer, he would have still have to do the rest and probably work harder (more risk to his heart).

A lot of athletes take steroids at some point, as well as HGH, there have also been a lot who have had heart attacks (two this year that I know about in football) due to underlying heart defects that were not previously known about.

I was under the impression that he was fairly huge before taking any roids. Still a mind blowing transformation.

I think it's safe to say you don't know who this kid was, how he acted, or the shit he took.

Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

There's people in my home town who idolize this guy. One of them even copied Zyzz's chest tattoo. :-|

Also just to add to the debate. Zyzz's mass gains considering he was on steds weren't that impressive. What made him were his muscle insertions which gave him an "aesthetic" appeal.

Shame he didn't look after his health properly.

This guy grew up 10 minutes from where I live and it's quite crazy what an influence this guy has had on Sydney roid heads.

Every gym roid curl monkey quotes him like teenage wiggers quote Lil Wayne.

They even walk talk and act like him, even do the same amount of roids as him and try to get as "aesthetic" as him. Pretty fucked because it's quite obvious that abusing roids don't to any wonders for your internal organs yet people keep doing them.

Zyzz, was a positive influence in the fact that the dude was having fun, not hurting anybody, living it up etc. But obviously fucked his body up beyond the point of no return so I don't know how positive you can be doing some shit like that.

I don't understand any of this. Does that mean I am old or just out of touch?

Possibly both. You're not missing out on anything though, just a guy that got popular for abusing steroids and acting like a tool in public once he blew up. Ended up dying from drug abuse and/or an undiagnosed heart defect.

I think towards the end he did smarten up and try to monetize his fame, started his own line of supplement protein powder to sell. Not sure if that ever took off though.

Zyzz:

"Everybody, one day will die, and be forgetton. Act and behave in a way that will make life interesting and fun, fuck a mundane predictable life working monday to friday with something you derive no pleasure from; just living life out till you grow old and wither away. Find a passion, form relationships, dont be afraid to get out there and fuck what everyone else thinks, trust me its alot more fun that way."

Oh wow, so his legacy is an army of roid-head douchebags. Unparalled positivity = Success.

Zyzz was just a character...he was actually a chill guy who helped heaps of people, some mates trained in his local gym (also have a few PT mates who worked there with his bro).
:)

I have a friend who's son went to school with Zyzz and apparently.... Zyzz was a fuckwit.

This guy didn't know Zyzz was an internet celebrity and only found out when he saw him on the news.

The hate is strong in this one.

His legacy is that you can transform yourself and have fun doing it while not giving a fuck what everyone thinks about you. His legacy is live it up WHILE YOU'RE HERE. He happen to die and that sucks, but douche bags that don't transform themselves while having shit tons of fun die too. Nobody is glamorizing his steroid abuse... just his attitude and the fact that he became famous through an online forum and had a blast doing it. That's all. Nobody is saying hey go do roids and be like Zyzz.
