Hard to say. I found a whole slew of oddball TLD's that I had never seen before. Very similar to that .aero, niche specific. Couldn't figure out where they hell people would buy them, but they're out there. If I can find the list again, I'll post it here.

/edit/ that's a nice site, BTW. Be great if you need a photo for a plane or travel site!
 
maybe these TLDs are only available to certain organizations or companies?
anyone with more information should explain :)
