Hello Guys!

Been looking for this on the search function but cant find it.... so here I come with me nOOb question!

I have a landing page for my dating offer. I have a database of cities I want to target and I have SpeedPPC and the campaigns ready to be uploaded. But Im facing a problem here.....

How can I upload different adgroups for lets say:

Miami Dating, Las Vegas Dating, Austin Dating (over 2,000 cities) in bulk?

Do I have to do that manually if I want to target by city?

I dont want to do over 2,000 location adgroups manually.

So lets say, everytime a guy from Miami florida types in "Dating" my ad will come up "Miamia Dating"..... If a guy in Autin types in "Dating" my ad will come up "Austin Dating"

so what I want to do here is target by location, but dont know how to do it???

any advice?

Thank you in advance.

thank you for your answer.

so lets say I have the ad groupds and ad ready with all the city names etc.
when I upload my campaign to adwords, if someone im for example miami types in "dating" my "Miami Dating" ad will come up automatically? or how does it work?

Download the adwords editor, then paste the information as a csv

if you're using speed ppc then you just need to copy and paste the output into the "multiple changes" keyword/text ads area of adwords editor.

log into the members area and watch the videos. they really will help you get to using the program a lot faster.

to answer your last question: no.

you will have to geotarget your campaigns, otherwise only people who type in the word "miami dating" will come up for your "miami dating" keyword

to give you an example:

If I was going to use the built-in city list thing on speed ppc, I'd make a campaign called: DatingAllCities then I would have my keywords with all the cities as adgroups so I could use the city names in my ads.

Then, I would go through and create separate local campaigns through geotargeting metro areas and name each campaign DatingAREA to catch the people who aren't typing the city into the keywords, but you'll still have targeted ads if you target the ads in each campaign.

is there a way to do this automatically? or do I have to do each one manually. because im thinking on doing this for each city possible in the US. but it will take me ages to do it if it has to be done manually.

thank you for your help :)

You sure you're using SpeedPPC. It already does this.

If you're not. Just say so, so that we don't keep repeating the same answer to you.

yeah I do have PPCSpeed software.
But the thing is, when I upload the ad groups, I know they are going to have the citi/state keyword in it. but are they going to be geotargeted on google as well.

or after I upload the adgroupds, do I have to set each adgroup manually for his target city/state ??? by saying this, I understand that the adgroups will have the CITY-XYZ KEYWORD-XYZ.... But is that adgroup going to geotarget the KEYWORD even if the end user doesnt ad the CITY-XYZ when doing a search on google??

Do I make myself clear????

Thank you guys for your help and info guys, its much appreciated!!

I just looked all through my version of speed ppc, and I don't see ANY geotargeting options, so you'll just have to create them yourself, or have something built that will do it... unless speedppc has a new version that includes this.
