Nope. Google has admitted that the googlebot uses OCR. So its not ok even on images.

AFAIK this is only related to PDFs, not images: Google Using OCR To Index Scanned Documents

I did tests with this and having the word "free trial" in the text does get your site slapped faster, that's my experience and opinion. Doesn't help with manual reviews though.

I would iframe your affiliate link as a offer.php
