I have compiled some keywords and checked to see if there where advertisers already bidding on the keywords i am going to use.
Not to my surprise i saw advertisers bidding, but I'm wondering since these advertisers are probably using the broad match approach, that when i will be using exact match my ads will have priority over their ads?

Let's say my phrase is compiled of three keywords:

[Keyword Keyword Keyword]

The advertisers i see appearing for that combo only have the first keyword in their whole ad listed.

And if someone would use the exact combo [Keyword Keyword Keyword] in a search I'll be using for my Adwords campaign and set it to exact match will this mean my ad will be on top over the others?

That is if the advertisers don't use exact match like I'll be doing?

Whoever bids most, and has the most relevant ad, will get on top. Its better to use long tail keywords like 'horse racing tips' rather than 'horse racing', as your ads will be more targeted and less broad, but as far as I know you will both come up if someone searches 'horse racing tips' (unless the other person utilises negative keywords), so its a matter of how high the bid is and how relevent the ad is.

CTR also has an impact on where you are ranking and how much you will be spending per click. Make sure your ad copy is exactly what you are offering, and is intriguing to the person conducting the search.

I see guys, comparing the ads to my ad copy i have in mind then my ads will be most relevant for sure.
Also the landing page will also contain the keyword combos i have in mind.

So i guess that's a good advantage compared to the current advertisers i see appearing.

And i do prefer tertiary keywords ;)

Any good Adword related threads on WF you may know of by the way guys? Tutorials, etc?
