i just happened top be reading his blog last night and then saw this today.
you don't often see the word mesothelioma, so it stuck in my head.

that guy who removed the google stuff from his adsense doesn't have a private reg on the site, a whois shows he's from India

you can try to partially cover the adds by google by choosing a pale font or blending it in.

actually you can't change the color of "ads by google"

If you play with the background colors of your ads, you can find combinations of colors that will blend the ads by pretty well, with YPN anyway. Google seems to be a little tough.

One combo that I have found and talked about before is with YPN,

Create a div for the ad bg #f9f9f9, then also create an ad style in YPN with bg#f9f9f9, the ads by will be #ffffff making it virtually invisable.

might still work, if not im sure there are a few other color combos out there that you can put together.
