Ad:tech impressions?

I thought the show was pretty solid... even if the hired retards at the booths didn't know much, they at least knew what type of traffic they sold, and rough estimates of rates. I give them a business card, write down exactly what I want on the back and give it to them.. they can prepare an email with more accurate information and rates once they get back.

Like pr0xy said, if you went there to meet new CPA networks or shoot the shit with existing ones, you are doing it wrong.

that said, the show was extremely productive and not over-crowded.

I thought the highlight of ad:tech was smoking a J w/ dirt nasty, too $hort, circa, dullspace, ytcracker, some other affs, groupies, and some drunk ass Facebook rep (who was a total bitch)

Well...thats what im saying. There are only a handful of traffic sources most (more or less experienced) affiliates haven't worked with at those shows. And unlike Lolwut, I don't need to meet up every ad-tech with already known sources before launching a new campaign with them. Still, obviously 1 new source can pay for the whole trip and a lot more.

But SFO wasn't nearly as productive as the show we had in London. That show blew biz through the roof plus it was only an 1hr flight away compared to 12hrs for me.

And ya, I agree that if you go to ad-techs for CPA networks you are doing something wrong.

I agree with eliquid on this one: Before and after the show was awesome. The show itself was rather MEH
