Thisssssssssssssssssssssss is A State of Trance....

With Armin Van Buuren..

Live 2pm-4pm EST on www.di.fm

Amazing tracks so far.. I have my 7.1 system on full blast, and it's shaking everything in the room. My subwoofer literally feels like a fan with the amount of air it's pumping out. I live for this show!

You can download the shows that are streaming though, just use streamrunner which is a winamp plugin, and you can record the whole days worth of music so you can have some music to workout to!

You can download a lot of the episodes on pretty much any torrent site or newsgroup. I for one have over 100 episodes on my computer. Gigs and gigs of trance make my world go round. Over 40GB of trance to be exact..

There is a free "On Demand" page for A State Of Trance at http://www.di.fm/content/asot/.
The show is updated every Thursday, and the public version is available at 32k.
For the lazy, here's the stream link: http://www.di.fm/content/asot/ASOT_onDemand_public.asx

There is also other on demand content available at http://www.di.fm/content/.

Thanks for that torrent tip Jon. I'd never have thought about it even being available there. Do you have any episodes you'd recommend?
Time to set aside a HD. I love this stuff.

Just downloaded this at 192kbs... so far it's pretty damn good

I've been listening to Oakenfold these past few weeks.. ALMOST forgot about ASOT

Yeeaaah :small-smiley-026:

Armin rules, Our second largest export product is probably trance music, right after XTC, wich is the Netherlands #1 export product :anon.sml:

and they're both the best quality :small-smiley-026: ;)

This ASOT is kick ass. I'm a Trance noob, so could someone list some good tracks to listen to?
:food-smiley-002:

ASOT epsiodes I'd recommend:

Episode 173 (4 hours long)
Episode 184 (2 hours long)
Episode 200 (3-4 hours long)
Episode 250 (8.5 hours long)

BitTorrent sites I use - bittorrent.com, thepiratebay.org, mininova.org
And then of course, there's always newsgroups and for those fellow old fashioned types -- mIRC.

Thanks. That should keep my ears busy for a while. :pimp:

Have you heard his latest "A Lively Mind"? I've got to say, I'm not too impressed.

I thought it's pretty good, but I only liked 2 tracks. The first and the 9th. The rest weren's o good. I can see what he's trying to do, with the famous names and all. Most fans were probably disappointed, but IMO he's trying something new and pushing the boundaries is always cool.
