I emailed 7search in regards to opening another account because I am reaching the 10k keyword limit. I recieved this back:

"Your sites are essentially google ad based campaigns consisting of google ad links and bolstered with token information."

If another account is opened, that my original account will be closed. I only spend around $50 a day, so I am not a huge advertiser. I looked at most of the sites, and 95% of them are MFA, or Arbi websites. Maybe I got a bitchy CS rep or something....

I did read in the arbi thread about someone not being able to open an account because they submitted an arbi page for their sign up.

I shouldn't have quit my day job last Friday! :crying::crying::crying:

What can I replace my 7Search traffic with??? Help!

I imagine 7search has been getting quite the surge in revenue in the past 6 months from arbitrage, so now they think they're better than 3rd-tier. Arbitrage is 7search's bread and butter, so I hope they realize they're fucking up.

I've been considering starting my own search engine specifically for pushing arbitrage traffic, but I'm not too sure where I could get enough volume to make it worthwhile to advertisers.

pfft...7search is so last year anyway.
Uhh..? :error:
And what do you suggest is the thing to use these days? 7search still seems to be the #1 PPC of choice here for big arbi players.

But, I have to admit that something seems to be up with 7search. From recent posts the last couple of weeks I get the impression that they are not too pleased with their network being spammed down with arbi campaigns.

Maybe all the new WF'ers have slowly saturated 7search with arbi ads since WF launched last summer. :)
The traffic volume sure sucks even for #1 position ads for BIG keywords.

Perhaps 7search + Arbi = dead

The fact that their captcha changed right about the time these problems surfaces is more than a coincidence as well. I imagine there were some home grown tools blasting the hell out of their bid db.

please tell me you are joking.

Guys, Adwords is still a viable option, it's just harder. You need a good amount of content (say 300+ words), privacy policy, TOS, Contact, a few outbound links and bam you're in the game. Your ROI will not be as good as 7search but you get more volume so that might make up for it.

Yeap, I took it as a sign to move on. Don't get me wrong. 7search was great for what I needed at the time. It gave me a really strong start, for very little money.

I can't see paying the big $$ for some keywords because of the inability to geotarget. Some days I get a TON of clicks from asia, the mid east, and africa. I get about half north american traffic (does convert well), but it has to make up for all the shitty traffic.

7search must be making huge $$ from all the WF members though... not sure why they would clamp down on it so much.

Sshhhhhhh!!

But won't that get you smart priced if you're using AdSense?

:) Thanks for that motivator, Drusam.
I think I will just go ahead and get started with Adwords in the next couple of days. I already have an account and all my arbi sites already have 500 words in them. I just need to modify my templates and throw in some p.policy, contact-us link and other shit to brown-nose the Google butts.

Personally, 7search couldn't get much worse now anyway so I think I will give up on them altogether soon.
