An unknown fact is that 20% of all Catholic Priests are indeed married. Catholic Priests that belong to a Catholic Church in an Eastern European Country that has Orthodoxy as the dominant religion, while technically are still 'Catholic', tend to follow the Orthodox Traditions more, and are not discouraged at all by the vatican because they are still able to maintain a 'Catholic' presence in an otherwise Orthodox dominated country.
I do think there is a correlation between Unmarried Priests and sexual abuse. The vatican should just abandon the No Marriage rule.

Where I grew up is basically a peadophiles playground. We now have a game where everytime someone from there tells me a new one got caught I guess whether it was a teacher or a priest, because its always one of the two.
Despite the irrelevance of it being worse in schools, have you considered that perhaps there are more teachers than priests and so the statistics might be wrongly compared? It still doesn't seem to affect the chances in the aforementioned town, just so you know.
