5 yr old with leukemia sells 3,000 monster drawings to pay for his cancer treatment

I remember this. Good to see a happy ending come from it. Hope it continues in a positive direction for the little artist guy.

Pretty excellent, yet sad his family had to do that to pay for his treatment.

If he was Australian the guvment would have paid for it, but thats SOCIALISM AND EVIL!

lol no it doesn't, no policy has been drafted let alone passed through the senate.

Well you live there, so you should know. But I've read two different 'articles' that it does indeed censor the net. One was a post here on WF about a year ago. And since that really shocked me at the time, I did a few minutes of googling, which led to another article that said your net is indeed censored and you have to opt-out and then answer questions about Why you want to opt-out of the censorship. Not true?

I think this story is awesome instead of laying down to die he made his own destiny. Just the dedication of making 3000 drawings is awesome for a 5 year old

A) Australia doesn't censor the internet. At all. As has been said, the legislation hasn't even been drafted.

B) If you equate not getting to look at rape porn with getting your cancer treatment paid for by the government you're pretty fucking dumb.

Great story. I bet doing the drawings helped empower him. As a young cancer patient he must be feeling pretty powerless and really is fighting some scary monsters.

p.s. people hijacking the thread? really? do one

hell yeah! thanks for making this thread.

I got 2 of his drawings last october. really glad him and his family were able to get enough cash out of it.

Government doesn't pay for shit, taxpayers pay for it. And while the drawings are helping his family pay for it, his dad is an airline engineer, so he probably has insurance and makes a some what decent living.

How the fuck did this turn into a political thread?

Yep it's too bad for the millions of people that don't have insurance, can't afford treatment, don't get media attention and just have to go die in a hole somewhere.
