I remember there was a thread here not too long ago about this boy Aidan and remember everyone helping him out and purchasing some of his drawings. Well I stumbled upon this article and thought I would share it with you all. He was finally able to pay for his cancer treatment by selling 3,000 of his monster drawings!

Well you live there, so you should know. But I've read two different 'articles' that it does indeed censor the net. One was a post here on WF about a year ago. And since that really shocked me at the time, I did a few minutes of googling, which led to another article that said your net is indeed censored and you have to opt-out and then answer questions about Why you want to opt-out of the censorship. Not true?

I think this story is awesome instead of laying down to die he made his own destiny. Just the dedication of making 3000 drawings is awesome for a 5 year old

Great story. I bet doing the drawings helped empower him. As a young cancer patient he must be feeling pretty powerless and really is fighting some scary monsters.

Government doesn't pay for shit, taxpayers pay for it. And while the drawings are helping his family pay for it, his dad is an airline engineer, so he probably has insurance and makes a some what decent living.

Yep it's too bad for the millions of people that don't have insurance, can't afford treatment, don't get media attention and just have to go die in a hole somewhere.
