5 yr old with leukemia is selling his drawings of monsters to help pay for his chemo

My friend's little brother is going through the same thing at the moment, he just underwent a bone marrow transplant, all treatment completely paid for by the government.

When I stated in another thread that I don't understand why people don't want health care in the US these are the responses I got

I think you meant you don't understand why people don't want to pay for other peoples healthcare.

Unnecessary expense & our quality WILL go down.

We don't want gov't health care because we know gov't doesn't work. It's no coincidence that the US is wealthier than Europe and the rest. We were the last country to impose socialist policies.

What more can I say?

I bought his Vampire picture as well as made a post mirroring this one on another super-high traffic forum.

It's disgusting that this kid has to hustle is drawings to pay for the treatments that will save his life.

It's disgusting that this kid has to hustle his drawings to pay for the treatments that will keep him alive so that he can hustle his drawings some more to pay for the medication that prolongs his life.

Fixed.

The pharmaceutical companies don't want anyone with cancer or other diseases being cured, that's bad for their business.

People get cured of cancer all the time, what's the difference between a cure (chemotherapy) that works say 50% of the time and a much more effective cure such as gene therapy that might work 95% of the time? they're still making money, and the person being cured is going to be alive longer to spend more money on other drugs (such as viagra) in the future... so it's in their best interests to cure people. A cure doesn't mean they won't get cancer again...

wow, i had a shit day since google decided to update local splashing vertical results infront of my site but this puts things in perspective. I bought this one:

Good luck to the little guy (US healthcare sooo messed up)

little man is selling out! only two different ones when I got there but I grabbed one of each. hope this is helping his family out.

Ever since I got that thread stickied over at bodybuilding.com, the amount of traffic going to the their sales page has tapped the inventory numerous times. Just check back in a few hours, Mandi (I believe his Aunt) restocks pretty fast.

You know, imagine if this was actually the work of a really fucking incredibly smart and soulless internet marketer.

Damn I wish I had..

Most blackhat method i ever seen, anyone shady enough to replicate this with me in a jv and bank?

P.S im only joking, i actually feel for the kid. ;)

I wish this kid the best and all but it's really to bad people don't seem to care this much about the other millions of kids dying in the world of things that could be prevented for a ton less money...

From a marketing standpoint it's rather interesting how some ideas stick though.

Thousands in donations pouring in to pay the 6 figure bills that will save this kid while others can't get the $100 a month they would need to avoid starvation.
