During the past two months, I've been changing my personal blogs' traffic and content writing strategy. We've experienced quite a bit of a surge in CTR in the past and it levelled off a bit during the past week. However, today's numbers are off the charts. 40% CTR. Isn't this suspicious? Should I flood it with EC or other crappy traffic to lower the CTR rate? Is there such a thing as too high of a CTR for Adsense? Any danger of them closing the account?

This is all whitehat SEO traffic, no funky stuff. The only thing that's changed is the content strategy and topic segmentation.

I've had very high adsense CTR before and never had a problem. If the traffic is all natural you should be just dandy.

Don't listen to those retards, because I have never seen a legit person get banned before.

Oh, btw I wouldn't flood it with crappy traffic or try to change the CTR. You'll do way more harm than good.

dont do anything, if someone is click bombing you Google will figure it out and remove those earnings.

I've had days where it hit very high CTR and 1,000x normal traffic all legit and everything was fine.

those dopes on DP that get banned are always doing some shady shit and then bitch about it

Even if your adsense account gets closed, just ask your friend to open an adsense account for you (assuming you run adsense on a completely new network of websites, it shouldn't pose a problem...)

I've been averaging 20% for a while on one of my sites. Sometimes 35-45% still got my original account. Dont worry be happy.

if it's legit you'll be ok. Google are past the 'whiter than white' stage now, they have monthly targets to hit and shit.

What did you do to generate the higher click through rates? I spent a lot of time learning about Adsense blending, and would be interested to know if you applied these strategies.

I routinely get 30-40% CTR as well, and it'll run for weeks or months. What you need to worry about is your click trends. If you don't do any drastic changes, and your clicks go from an average of let's say 100/day to 750/day, that would be cause to worry.

Normally if I see a surge like that, i'll go into google help and let them know about potential click fraud.
