Pyramids were not necessarily built by "slaves". Plenty of evidence which suggest they weren't just slaves.

Pyramids were not used as tombs. Plenty of evidence which suggests they actually produced electricity.

This is one of those things that nobody can prove, yet they can't deny the possibility. But I am not about to start freaking out over it, because if it happens, what can you do about it anyway? We will all be dead / ascended / whatever you want to believe.
 
The peoples of the ancient world pulled off some shit that is pretty hard to believe. Even will all the unexplainable things they did, I don't think the world is going to end this year.

Or for anyone who actually believes this, wanna make a bet? I'll happily put $10k on this one. If come Dec 22, 2012, Nibiru (or whatever planet) hasn't screwed up our solar system, causing the poles to reverse within hours, causing huge earthquakes, volcanoes, and floods that kill and perish us all.... then you owe me $10k. If it happens, I don't know... I'll get you paid up after we've died, and meet in hell. Deal? Who's in?

I experienced the phenomenon myself while in Egypt in 1986, After being inside the Great Pyramid for about an hour, I found myself in a rather uncomfortable situation. Sick and in immediate need of a bathroom, I really did not know if I was going to make it; but I rushed out of the King's Chamber, down the Grand Gallery, and Ascending Passage, squeezing past tourists. Once outside I ran down the hill to the Mena House and headed straight for the bathroom., I made it just in time. The bathroom walls in the Mena House were constructed of Aswan granite. As I relaxed and closed my eyes, and without any external influence, the resonance of the Kings' Chamber filled my head. At the same time a pyramid shape began to glow in the center of my forehead. It was only after leaving the Mena House that this sensation faded. It could be that this phenomenon is only felt at certain times, according to the seismic activities within the Earth. I have not experienced it since then, although I have been inside the Great Pyramid several times since.

All I know is, I'm going to have a huge hole in my life come 2013. My entire life the end of the world was coming within a few years. First it was the planets lining up or some shit when I was 7. Then when I was 12 Armageddon was coming because of some Biblical prophecy about it being 40 years (one generation) after the State of Israel was formed. Then Nostradamus supposedly predicted the end of the world when I was 18. Then when I was 24. And again when I was 25. Then the planets aligned again around my 30th birthday. Then a couple of years ago we started fucking around with the LHC and everyone thought we were going to blow the world up. Now it's the Mayans with 2012. And this isn't counting the constant threat of the Soviet Union nuking us, then the terrorists, and bird flu, and Aids, and Ebola, and a bunch of other shit not worth remembering.

Now I'm 36 and I'm finally starting to realize that this end of the world shit is human nature and it's never going to stop. It won't take long after 2012 comes to an end for a new threat to emerge. But I've decided to stop clicking on life's little dickrolls because I've been tricked enough.

One day I'll be dead and so will all of you. There's no good reason to dwell on that shit because you only live once.

As a small child, I went to bed every night in the 1980's compeltely convinced that the USSR was going to annihilate the United Sates with ICBMs while I slept. This 2012 stuff is nothing to me.

anybody remember this? I was 5 when I first saw it.

I think a lot of people on here are too young to remember that, but we even used to have drills at school where we would go hide in the lunch room which was somehow supposed to save us from a nuclear attack. Growing up in Detroit, we were supposed to be one of their first targets due to all of the manufacturing facilities.
