2011 NFL Playoffs!

They needed the last two games. Sure, it was the Panthers and Browns, but they still played like they were playing the Ravens. Getting Smith back and keeping Troy healthy will make them scary. I just always fear the Pats, as the Steelers have a horrible history against them.

Oh, and I love watching #17. He is crazy fast and they run that bomb play successfully almost every game. Such a game changer.

This! Our O-Line is finally starting to gel just in time for the playoffs. The last few games they have been clicking on all cylinders. With Aaron Smith and Troy back we are dangerous and #17 gets better every week.

As weird as it is the Saints lost last year to Tampa Bay as well I just believe that they were not in their game mode during the game because they didn't need it. New Orleans will take it ;)

Pats!

Although - exactly like I said last year... the ONLY team I don't want to play in the entire NFL is Baltimore, and fucking ranked 5th, they have a real good chance of coming to Foxboro in 2 weeks.

The Colts kind of scare me as well just thinking about Manning tearing up our young secondary, but it looks like we wouldn't have to face them until the AFC Championship.

In the Super Bowl the team I wouldn't want to face is the Saints. Great QB and they won't get rattled on the big stage. I still have fresh memories of them trouncing the Pats last year in one of the worst losses I can remember.

Philly needs to preserve Vick's health. If their O-line doesn't buck up and start protecting him, god knows Kolb is worthless. But if he's healthy and DeSean Jackson is healthy, they'll go a round or two.

New England flatly schooled Chicago earlier this year, I don't see Chi-town being a serious threat. Same for Atlanta- watching the New Orleans game last week it's clear that they can come up with big plays, but they can't close when it's absolutely necessary.

Steelers and New England look good for an AFC championship.

New Orleans and Philly look good for an NFC championship, though everyone knows I hate Philly and hope Green Bay dismantles them next week. And, if not them, that Chicago does us the favor next. I have a feeling that a Philly vs Atlanta match-up would tip in favor of Philly... Vick would probably run himself into the ground to beat them at home in the playoffs.

Either way I think the Bowl is going to the AFC.

That's the Super Bowl I want to see. Beating Manning and Brady in consecutive Super Bowls would put an end to the best QB of this era discussion that Brees so conveniently gets left out of. NO needs a healthy Pierre Thomas to get back there tho, and that doesn't look very likely at this point.

Philly-NE would be my second choice, just from a enjoyability factor.

I Though NO was going to do well but after today's performance I though otherwise. They needed to get some momentum going which they failed to do. Cost me against the spread too today, I though they would do much better. Oh well 12-2 against the spread today, can't find my sheet so not sure how I did with the other 2 games.

They had nothing to play for once Atlanta got up big. Knowing that, and knowing that Atlanta was playing the worst team in the NFL, total failboat on your part for betting on them. They were more concerned with health than momentum. Getting a "bye week" game against the NFC Worst winner should only help them get healthier.

can we please discuss how bad the Ducks are going to destroy Auburn next week?

not gonna happen... The Pac 10 is the minor leagues compared to the SEC!

As for the NFL. I really like Atlanta in the NFC. They will be a tough out at home.
Its hard to bet against the Pats in the AFC but I don't think they will cake walk like they have been the past few months.

I would love to see a Pats/Falcons Super Bowl. I think the PATS win, just like they always seem to do in the Super Bowl, by a field goal! 38-35.

I'm saying Steelers-Saints in the Super Bowl. The Ravens have a decent chance of playing the Pats again and I just can't see the Ravens D letting go of another game again. Both the Colts/Jets are so banged up that I can't really foresee either of them beating the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Oh well, I'm biased.

LOL, Seattle 7-9 and in the playoffs. Pats were 11-5 two years ago and didn't make it in.

MOTHERFUCKING BIRD BOWL. RAVENS VS FALCONS.

OOOOH YEAHH

I think you are lost.
Next year with a better defensive coordinator + #1 back in the NFL (Arian Foster)+ healthy Andre Johnson + healthy DeMeco Ryans = TEXANS WINNING SUPERBOWL

And lets also hope brian cushing doesnt do anymore roids this year. Draft a FS and maybe another corner and I like where they are going. And hopefully amobi steps it up.

Pats are going to tough to beat, Saints must win their way thru on the road, that's just too much to ask for.

meanwhile the 7-9 seahawks have home field advantage. Hate to say it but the Pats will roll to another ring.

Who's going to asw? Anyone know where the good spots are for watching playoffs and bcs championship? sportsbook at the wynn any fun? never been.

Here come the Packers, playing for their lives already the last two weeks, so they already have that do or die mentality set in. Six losses, 2 at 4 points and 4 at 3 points. They can play with anyone in the league.

....but there aren't many teams in the playoffs that have the same fortitude they do. I would say the only two teams that I would worry about playing are the Pats and the Falcons. Two teams we have already played this season.

Oh yeah, prediction: Saints take out the Bears because they are pretenders!

da bears still suck...da bears still suck.

I would agree that The Pack is probably the most tested.

No one is really talking about them too much in terms of being contenders for the Super Bowl, but the fact is that no one wants to play the Steelers in the postseason.

I've got money on them winning it all....maybe Im crazy, but they look scary good.

if aaron rodgers gets injured again the packers will win, our backup quarterback rules.

Oregon is going to have a raw asshole after Cam Newton is done with them. He's going to grind it out and destroy the pathetic Oregon defense.

The SEC will win their 5th consecutive national championship with 4 different teams.

It's the SEC and everyone else. They should just give the crystal to the winner of the SEC championship.

If Oregon or Boise actually had to play an SEC schedule, they wouldn't sniff the NC game. Oregon's offense is great but they would have many more injuries if they actually played in the SEC.

Saints are my boys but it's hard to see anyone but the Pats taking it all the way. Saints need more beef on defense. Nothing a little drafting and trading can't handle.
