We have the most recognizable money on the planet, why do we need a makeover into monopoly money?

This.. I am already looking for alternatives but that would certainly speed things up considerably.
Different sizes and colors are actually nice, they make it so that you know which bill you have for sure...you know how often 10s and 100s get confused, and 5s and 50s? It'd be pretty hard to confuse a 5 with a 50 if one is blue and little and another is red and larger...
You guys are looking at this all wrong. The Fed should sell sponsorships for the right to be on our money. The Coca-Cola inspired $1, Taco Bell on the $5, GM on the $10 etc. The govt needs to start being run like a business - I see advertising space.
They'd have to be redesigned anyways to accept the new bill...plus new ATMs now allow check and cash depositing, and can read various sized checks, so why would it be harder for the dollar bill? And it wouldn't really be that hard for them to spit out new bills in different sizes, if you're getting different sized dollars coming out, it would organize the biggest on the bottom, to the smallest on top...a rather simple concept that could make things easier...
ps. I hate cash and use credit card for everything I can.
Seeing as how they earmarked $18 million for a web redesign, I'm thinking a few bucks. It's a good thing they handle finances responsibly.
Or maybe people should look at the numbers for half a second?
