Ways you hustled before this

modified radio shack tone dialers into redboxes and sold them in college

made fake ids

showed the foreign exchange students how to call around the world for free from the "help" phones connected to the ATM machine with radio shack tone dialers

Buying rare european cigarettes from a russian contact and reselling them either 1 by 1 or in packs. Prima Light, Davidoff, Marlboro, Winston, Camel, Monte Carlo... they have none of those here in Canada.

Middle school: Bought candy, waited till switch in between classes, sold outa locker... worked good till I got shut down by teachers

High school: Like alot of you guys, sold pre-release movies and cds. Gotta love the old mIRC days

College: Got pre-release fan codes for ticket master, scouted out best concerts for the time of year. Got the good seats before they went on sale for gen public, when they sold out, flipped the tix on ebay/craigslist/stub hub...

AM hustlin now...

About 11 years ago or so, there was this thing called "all advantage" which paid you to basically "surf" the internet with this toolbar on your screen. I ended up finding this little bot thing that would move your mouse (so your computer wouldnt fall asleep) and randomly click on shit on websites I had open while I was sleeping lol.

It didn't last very long, I only made about $800 doing it for a few months and then they went belly up, but I'll never forget I was like 15 years old and it was the first money I ever made online.. and when your 15 $800 isn't too bad..

Holy shiat.. you're my brother!

Actually, we went to govt auction fair and bought a few pallets of computers "as is". Mixed and matched the parts to make a row of decent computers and had those suckers clicking all day and night.

i started my own disc jockey business at 15. wasn't even old enough to drive yet, parents had to transport me and all my gear to the gigs. did weddings, dances, etc. kind of funny some of the bars we worked at, i was still 5+ years from being able to get in, but cuz i was the dj no one ever really asked. was pretty janky, but i spun a mad beat.

When the cellphone antenna booster things came out on tv (back in the day), found the china manufacturer and purchased from them direct 1k for like $20, Went to the gas stations and gave them on consignment for $10 (they sold it for $10 and kept $5 I got the other five) The 50% commissions got them exited so they put them on the front counter and pushed them like a slick turd. Made a bunch of money but spent it all quick on beer, women and a bunch of useless shit (high school days)...

And now doing it all over again with different stuff... and in a market that most people don't know exists - (except the money go to the wife)

Sick. Can this still be done? I have people who want them. I used to buy online from Romania back in the day. Then the gov caught on ;)

fuck... scary how alike so many WF members are.

I never thought I'd find a group of like minded hustlers... 99% of people can't even understand why I hussle (answer: cuz I got it in me)

Shit, when Girls Gone Wild first came out I was in 9th grade. My bro ordered a subscribtion with a gift card that had no money on it. Them things were showing up in our mailbox left and right. I started bootlegging them (this was back in vhs days) and went to school and sold them. I would have my whole locker filled up with them damn things and would have to restock it every few days. I was rakin in more cash than dudes selling lots of drugs (it was a bad school btw). I couldn't even take a piss without dudes comin' up to me asking for a tape. Some of them were the same dudes that would call me out and embarass me in front of the whole class (including the teacher) for what I was doing. I still have a really bad reputation up to this day for doing that and it's something I'll always regret. But it was fun and I made a shitload.

HAhaha... seems a lot of similar stories here.

- Paper route
- Yard work (also did this as paid work when I should be interning for school) Repeated this when working as a programmer during University - should be interning for half a year, made websites instead. - shady bosses FTW!
- Billiards (used to play tournaments, can't play for shit now after a few years)
- Also did the fake ID thing with month tickets for our city. Kids would get money from their parents to buy it, but would buy cheap from me. Had to stop when some friends got almost busted at a control.
- Building computers / IT support stuff

And now...

..Working for "the man" and IMing at the side.

Can't stop the hustle.
