I've created a new web service tool for tracking SEO packages that you buy - could be from a provider on here, any other forum, or even links that you've created yourself.

What it does:

It tracks your seo packages for you. It tracks if they're indexed or deleted, as well as it checks their page rank, and gives you an IP count of the total links within a campaign. It checks 3 major search engines, google, yahoo, and bing.

An example would be if you bought some blog posts from Andly. You input the list of links he sends you, it automatically tracks when they're indexed, or deleted, gives you an accurate IP count of all the blog posts (good for IP diversity), and the PR of those links.

It also sends you an daily/weekly/monthly email alert whenever links are updated (either indexed or deleted).

We're going to be adding automated pinging in the future. Right now, we just want you to test it, and to provide us feedback on the service. Any things that you would like to see added is a bonus for us, so the more feedback, the better the service will end up.

Just an idea:

You could extend this idea by incorporating a listing of directory submitters and either receiving a commission through referrals, charging them to be listed, or maybe even allowing people who purchase the software to rate them.

lol its not a bad idea at all. In fact, we will be advertising trusted link building packages through the web service, such as a vendors list.

Sounds like a nice piece of software. Particularly useful for paid links. Especially if you could track things like anchor text, number of outbound links on the page etc. I was thinking about doing something similar awhile back, with some payment mgmt stuff in it too strictly for that purpose. But, this application is great in concept. I'd talk to Grindstone, he could probably give you some kick ass feedback.
 
That's what we think. So many people use backlink trackers to track their backlinks that they've either had built themselves, or paid someone to build them. Why not have full control over the links, instead of waiting for another program (such as any standard backlink checker) to pick them up?
 
you know what would be really fucking money:

make it like basecamp, where you can give outsourcers login&password so they can log in and post the links they've built for you so that those links can be tracked, look at their next tasks, etc. Leave them messages. Man that would be a bomb.

Just wanted to let everyone know:

It may start off slow with getting your intro email when you set up a new campaign. Reason being: all the links are being checked through public proxies. We're in the process of adding private proxies instead of public proxies. Don't be deterred if you don't receive an initial email for a few hours. You can always View your links to see if your links have been updated yet.

why are you using proxies to check the sites for links? It doesn't really matter, proxies are important for account creation and posting, but if you're just checking, wipe the cookie store and rotate user agents and you can run naked just fine.
