I have a really awesome starcraft 2 related domain that currently has nothing on it. What's the best way to put it to use? Blog? Forum? Both?

Yeah, I am definitely late in the game here. But I have such a good domain that I think I can still easily enter the scene if I do it right. I'm just not sure how to do it right.

Beta is over so get back to promoting what you promote when it was beta, conversions will be much better now.

It's definitely not too late in the game. SC2 was just released over a week ago, and will be popular for years to come.

I would recommend hosting custom maps. Such as "Use Map Settings" maps, etc. These were hugely popular with SC1. I would bet that if you host 10 good maps with decent SEO you can pull a lot of traffic.

Forum with a twist.

I stupidly let my SC2 domain expire without knowing so if you're interested maybe we could work on something together.

Custom Maps.
Youtube Hosted Replays.
Build Orders
Guides in general.

You can probably get a shit load of traffic.

Sure you can pull in some traffic but monetizing is hard. Not alot of 15 year olds have credit cards... And if you tell me you know a lot of 20+ year olds who play SC go fuck yourself.

Portal with guides/maps/etc with forum attached. Community is the key.

Advertise lead gen games and make bank.

This sounds like a good idea. Any suggestions on what software can integrate everything seamlessly?

Starcraft 2 is something like World of WorldCraft in Sci-Fi so you can easily find 20+ peoples.

Are you senial? Most Starcraft players are 18+. It's a game from early millennium so all the players that were 10-20 are now 20-30.... 90% of Diamond, Platinum, Gold, and Silver are 18+ cause little niggas don't know how to micro, macro and think for themselves. /rant :playboy_sml:

vBulletin with addons would be your best bet, although I'm not sure which addons. Buy a license and hit up their forums and you will find out how to do this, it will be seamless, solid and people love using vBulletin communities.
