Yeah, retarded question.

But I'm Canadian and always recieved payment from American networks so I always sent in a W8. But now I'm going to be getting payment from a Canadian network. So, what the hell do I fill out?

Thanks, and sorry about the retarded quastion (wtf is a quastion?)

Yeah, I sent an email to my aff manager. Maybe they're like maxbounty and don't require any tax forms. We'll see.
If they are a Canadian network, you will not need to fill out any government paperwork because there are no forms from the government that define a business relationship. It's up to individuals and companies to do keep track of their business partners on their own.

The network only needs your GST number if you are invoicing them for GST (HST in Ontario). If you are not a business, or a business earning under $30K annually, you do not need to collect and submit GST, so you wouldn't need to provide the network with a GST number.

You're stupid not to collect GST if you're Canadian and promoting Canadian network offers because of holdbacks. E.g. you collect $5K GST from your CA affiliate network, and then any GST you paid as expenses for your IM business can be "held back" so essentially you can pay the government during tax time < $5K. Bought a new computer during the same taxation year? Then take the GST you paid for that computer and use it against your GST collections.

Money in your pocket.

Any Canadians working with Neverblue getting paid commissions + GST?

They never asked for my GST number.

No networks will blatantly ask you for your GST number so that they can pay you more. It's your responsibility to collect, not theirs. If you owned a business, should a customer remind you that you didn't charge tax when they bought something. Same thing.
