Yeah what he talks about is that success can basically be reduced to hard work.

Maybe what he is trying to say is that you can be anyone you want to be ONLINE, like in chat rooms and stuff.
Will smith is a weirdo sometimes, like in the beginning. Couple months ago howard was clowning on will and oprah. He's still awesome though.

Whoa whoa, Will Smith has never claimed to be a Scientologist (that I've ever heard of). He just knows how to grease the right palms to keep him at his "Idea" status.
Ok I'm not really a fan of Will Smith (and I'm even less of a fan of Scientology), but the shit he's talking about here is fucking golden and isn't related to Scientology in the slightest.
They are simple basic truths that have been proven by exceptional people over and over.
I don't think he just got "Lucky" and turned into a holier-than-thou movie star that's just spitting bullshit to hear himself talk. He's been a successful rapper, TV star, and huge movie star...you don't do all that without hard work and a good attitude.

I believe this is possible since they share the same structure. I've read before that this has been done before more than once (especially with nuclear tech) but it's not practical at all.
