I happen to know exactly how someone is making nearly 200K net per month by transferring Internet marketing skills into another industry. (I've seen the checks since they were a consulting client).

Now... I've been sitting on this knowledge for about five months and I'm starting to think that maybe doing something other than just marketing MAY just be the right thing to do.

If you had the ability to start a business that would make you more money using your marketing skills, but was totally different than what we're doing now would you do it?

I've thought HARD about it for five months and I decided that I'm going to go ahead and get all of the federal licensing and do it.

Has anyone else reading this been in the same boat?

I think having only done online marketing for five years I'm actually scared of having been "wrong" since I was given the option to do this in a similar business back in 2007 and could have made millions more than I have.

What about you guys? Would you hang up the affiliate marketing boots and use the AM skills to drive a brick and mortar business?

And because it's late and I appreciate your input:

sounds like you've already answered the question for yourself and are just looking outward (to wickedfire) for justification.

that being said, earning millions more than you already have... hmmm

Thanks for rambling about shit and not telling us what the fuck you're talking about.

Nice tits! I don't think you need anyone's advice, if you think you can bank more with your multimillion $ idea. Go for it mang!

Affiliate marketing is just a means to an end.

I can't imagine anyone making a life long career out of it.

You just learn way too many business skills to not make any real use out of it with your own jig.

if you've already saved up enough $$ to start your own business, then by all means go ahead. keep in mind that brick and mortar business is a lot different from the internet...most of them fail. for the most part it's higher risk, higher reward.

he said NOTHING about brick and mortar fyi

Maybe nothing is "relative"...

I do own a seo/ppc shop with a few employees so I'm familiar with running an office. It's just that the last time I dealt in the financial sector I was a merchant banker and Greenspan was throwing cheap dollars my way.

I'm pretty sold on doing it, anyone else here been in the financial services sector?

Nice tits OP. Totally agree with andrew. I think you should just go for it and do it. Why stick to just AM? The skills that you learn to be successful with AM could carry over into pretty much anything biz related if you think about it... Honestly I think I have had more solid biz ideas(in many diff areas) after getting into AM then I ever did before. Good luck

What do you mean sell out? IM is not an ideology. Go for whatever makes money, as long as you enjoy it.
