They work just fine but their more expensive and the one i have now works great

Shit is awesome. Runs off rechargable batteries (literally, you plug the battery right into the unit). It fits in the palm of your hand. I have taken it to shows, movies, etc before.

you can't run AA's in it in a pinch can you b/c it's the lithiums?
