imo the best ROI on a chick comes from the stability that you get if she's not a drama queen. Less drama, less chasing girls, less parties = more time to work on campaigns and less hangovers.

food - bfast $10 lunch $20 dinner $30 etc1/2 $20/day
care - $1500/mo
sex - $200/time [3x/wk?!]
to get the same things done [excluding extra spends on restaurants/'event spends' in general]. on a monthly scale this is an operational cost of $6300 for doing everything by himself and NOT having the 'maintenance/investment/upkeep' of a girlfriend.
so, perhaps not having a girl around saves $2-3k monthly initially. but in reverse, one would spend $6k+ getting the same things done without one.

If you think your life is awesome because you have your girlfriend across the street and you run away each time there's a fight to your mancave, and you share a daughter between both houses, that's pretty fucked up.

That's a little close minded. Why would houses matter? They're still in a relationship (if I understood that correctly) and they live across the street from each other so there's not a problem with proximity and access to the parents. Infact she probably gets the same amount of access to her parents as most children do in a house with two parents working. (about 2 hours a day on week days) It's strange but I don't see the harm to the child? Certainly better than most divorced families that may not get along and live further way from each other.
