Does anybody have any experience with working with SEO companies? I'm looking to rank #1 in Google UK for some competitive terms. Outsourcing on DP won't get me where I need to be.

Some of the larger sites I've found have a pretty shitty portfolio. Like ranking #8 for pretty mediocre terms.

I don't have the time or experience to link build so any feedback would be appreciated.
 


It's unlikely you could afford our service (I'm not dissing you its just that most people aren't ready to dedicate a few grand to their SEO work on a consistent monthly basis and we have a firm minimum of $2k and if your key phrases are VERY competitive its likely not our minimum that we would be charging)

The reason I asked is because there are many great firms out there that should be able to help you rank for all but the most ridiculous terms. It's all about what you are willing to spend and how long you are willing to stick in there.

Well, said, the main reason for the medicore rankings Yaxxx mentioned isn't always a lack of skills by the SEO company, it's often a lack of dedication of the customer, money wise.

SEO isn't different from any other service: What you pay is what you get. If a competitor spends 5K a month and you want to outrank him, $250 will get you nowhere.

Depending on the competitiveness of the keyword, you may consider doing it yourself...nothing technie, just building backlinks that's what google is after. There are a lot of software and services nowadays offering that..

Having said that, if you can outsource with reasonable cost, then by all means go for it. It would free your time while you just sit back and wait. :)
