NEW Facebook Ads

If you click on "Setup" and then "Aff Campaigns", you'll see your campaigns on the right side, with three links next to each offer: link-edit-remove.
Just click on "Edit", and you can change your link.

Yeah, that's what I was doing; I think it was caching the link which is why it didn't seem like it was working. No problems though, works like it should.

You can edit your affiliate link in 202.

I repeat...

If your 1st set of ads is using the tracking URL going to 202 which has your affiliate link, how will you direct your 2nd set of ads in the same campaign to a 'safe' URL using the same 202 link when the 1st set of ads is already using that link?

That doesn't make sense.

Lemme walk you through this...

1. I make 1st set of ads, pause the ads, and send reviewer to 202 link which has w*w.safeURLforReviewer.

2. Ads get approved.

3. I change URL in 202 to my real affiliate link and now all ads go to that link.

4. The next day, I make a 2nd set of ads and pause them to get them approved first, making sure they aren't going to a geo-targeted LP.

5. Just like the 1st ads, I send them to 202 link. Only now, the affiliate link is being used by 1st set of ads. Hmmmm..how the fuck am I going to send the 2nd set of ads to a safe URL now???

You'd have to make a new campaign for every set of ads this way.

I can't believe I even have to do this because FB is so fucking retarded, they can't send the ads to the correct country to be reviewed...

At step five you pause the whole campaign so the first set of ads are paused, so nobody hits those ads while you're waiting on approval for the second set. That's the downtime I was referring to.

Guys... if anyone can answer this I will like be so happy:

When you split test ads doing CPM.... how many impressions do you give to each ad before comparing the CTRs? 10,000 or what?

My FB ad manager was working ~ 25 mins ago, although thats on my pc @ home, now i'm on a laptop so I am unsure if its still running.. however on one of my ads I got this:

This advert has been disapproved in response to an intellectual property complaint. As per section 11 of Facebook's advertising guidelines, you must not include any content that may be deemed as infringing upon the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other personal or proprietary right or any content that is deceptive or fraudulent. This advert should not be run again in its current form. If you choose to submit this advert again please make the necessary changes so that it adheres to all of Facebook's advertising guidelines."

Never got that one before.. the chick in the photo wasn't famous or anything.

Depends what the CTR is. If it gets to 10k with a really low CTR I'll kill it but if it's not that bad I'll let it run for another 10k to make sure.

Facebook are retarded for not having employees in every country in the world? Right.

Anyway, you can get a php script which does a GEOIP check on the user and redirects them accordingly.

I don't think so, it will just be one section of: 'why arent my ads approved', 'why did my ads get disapproved', 'why was i banned', 'how do i get back on', 'the ad manager isnt working', '<niche> no longer able to be promoted'
