I got banned from adwords...

I got banned from adwords last week. They said it was due to "multiple unacceptable content disapprovals"
Basically I had an ad that was running fine for a few months. When I then decided to break up this adgroup into more targeted groups my ad did not got approved and i discovered it was against the TOS. I tried submitting the ad a few more times before they gave me a warning. Since then i have tried to go by the book but accidentally submitted the same ad again when I was breaking up my content and search clicks into different campaigns.

I obviously screwed up though I don't think getting banned is really fair but there is nothing i can do about it. I have tried to explain, apologize and appeal to the adwords support but have gotten nowhere.

What i am wondering about is getting back in. I figure they have a "fingerprint" of my old account that might consist of my ip address/geo location, my keywords/adgroup/sites advertised for, cc #/billing address/name
I was thinking about trying to register again with a friends credit card via a proxy server.
Do you think that will work? Anything i am not thinking about?

Most my of my campaigns were direct linking to merchants so I think i can get away with recreating some of them.

any thoughts would be appreciated.

Well, you can't use any of the sites you used before, that's for sure :) It's a known fact that if you get banned from Adsense and you get a new account which you use in your old sites - guaranteed ban. So they have probably same kind of methods in Adwords.Also don't use any coupons when you make new account. It seems that Adwords team is more eager to ban people who use many coupons than people who have been banned and then make a new account.

So new address, cc, everything, proxy, and new sites. Completely new identity :)
 
I thought i might be able to get away with copying a few of my best converting affiliate adgroups as there would be other affiliates linking to the same websites. Of course they might notice my affiliate id or ad copy was the same and I also lose all my performance history :(
 
Was this a permanent ban? I have a friend who got kicked off for a year for doing some redirection stuff.
 
That's pretty funny that they won't let you spend money with them. You had to have done some pretty fucked up shit to get that type of punishment.
 
They will not even tell me exactly what i did wrong. All I can figure out that i did was try to get a few too many ads submitted that were against their content policies. The ads I think i got in trouble for were for photoblocker (license plate spray) so it was not like it was anything too crazy. In the past i have occasionally tried to get around trademarks or use a different display url but after they have been rejected a few times i have given up.

I think it just came down to the fact i was pretty small time (averaging about $3000/month) and must have caused them a few too many hassles.

I knew i was a little focused on PPC in the past so i guess the only good thing that will come of this is forcing me to diversify. At least that is what i keep telling myself so i don't go drink myself to death.

I mean if he can manage to get banned from using Adwords he can get banned at anything. Getting banned from using the internet would take quite a lot (ie getting a spam notice from your ISP, court order for hacking, etc). In short, it was a very lame joke.

I was thinkin the same thing....I didn't even know it was possible to get banned from adwords.
 
LOL you must have really pissed them off!

Just use a proxy, different domains, and signup under your mums mane with a different CC
 
Actually, I can't remember if it was adwords, but I definitely remember seeing somewhere a specific mention of photoblocker ads (as an example) being not allowed. It might have been in the adwords Terms and Conditions somewhere.
 
So let me get this straight, you fucked up, adwords sent you a warning, then you fucked up again multiple times and now your crying coz you lost your adsense account ?
