Theft!

Dear WF community,

I'm finding it hard to scale and push my offers, because I keep thinking that the networks, offers, or AMs are going to steal my traffic.

I'm cloaking my links, redirecting my links, meta refreshing my links to a new domain with tracking202. Should I be worried? What else should I do to secure my investments. Is this something to be worried about, especially with the top 3 CPA networks?

Thanks

Sometimes the largest are the ones you gotta worry about, they gotta pay for those parties some how at asw and adtech.

No matter what lengths you go to a network can still find out a traffic source if they really want to. Bottom line is work with people you trust and don't worry about things you can't control.

I was afraid someone was going to say this, even though I kinda consciously knew it.

It just sucks, spending so much time hiding your tracks, finding new ways to track your conversions, cause the "advertising networks" are probably just as scummy as well.

Paranoia is the mind-killer!

all ad networks can find out where hte traffic is coming from regardless. Again, just trust the people you are dealing with, even hook up with smaller networks that you have more trust with.

Quit affiliate marketing and no one will ever steal your stuff. Btw, who are the top 3 CPA networks?

you're being to paranoid here. do you think that networks don't have anything better to do than checking every affiliate's traffic sources? And even if they knew your sources, it's not like they're going to post them on wickedfire. Just milk the cow as much as you can, while it lasts then move on. If you will act like a pussy you'll just lose a great chance to make some good bucks and someone else will make them instead of you.

so make yourself a tinfoil hat and spend the rest of your life in your mom's basement. they can't get you there, unless you invite them in.

Thanks for the insults, and the off the wall tough love, but I think aeisn and stack paper already summed it up.

I put up a lot of traffic, and have a lot of sites to keep track of. If there was a PHP script, custom cloaking script etc.. that I thought would have helped, i would have liked to know before I throw more traffic at my sites. I don't think there's nothing pussy about that.

Thanks Guys!

scared money don't make money.

This is soo true. I worked at corporate for a good 6 years while one of my good (millionaire) friends was trying to get me to quit and start a business with him. I was making about $100K at corporate. I quit my job on August 2008. Today I am making mid $XX,XXX per month and it's growing quickly. I needed someone who wasn't scared to push me. I finally took the plunge.

Fixed your original post.

If your profit drops because a network steals your traffic, you stop running traffic & they lose out on your money. Most networks don't allow anything of the sort, and I don't know of any legit network that steals your traffic.
