Network Acceptance Catch-22

Ok guys, I have perused the wonderful guides at MakeMoniesOnline and have read all the threads on Wiickedfire, and still to no avail.

Don't you think that the networks keep newb affiliates in a kind of catch-22? I'm now building a review site for a niche — I'm a CJ affiliate that have been accepted in a single offer in this niche, probably because it's auto-approve. I get denied from all other networks that carry offers of this niche, because I have no proper site, and I still have no proper site because I don't want to promote it having no offers to run with.

Guys, wtf? Am I being a retard and doing something wrong? I'm an experienced SEO, and have no problems bringing any kind of traffic anywhere. I may be a newb affiliate, but isn't it dumb restricting your business from any kind of well-meaning affiliates?

After all, it's me making money advertisers and networks, not vice versa.

Have you tried calling them and explaining the situation? Most of this time this will solve the problem.

Call FTW

After a terrible experience trying to reach by phone _anyone_ at COPEAC for a week, I came to realization that aff networks are more keen on using smoke signals and dickrolls than phones.

Though, with the overwhelming response, I guess, telephony is not dead.

You can't contact one network by phone, so now all networks are unreachable by phone? If you actually give up trying after one failed attempt, I'd guess you probably don't really want an affiliate account with any network.

I don't want to actually work to make money, I just want it to sort of spontaneously 'happen'

Did you leave a message for someone? PM me with your details, if you applied what email did you use in your application and ill get someone to follow up with you.

Try talking to someone and giving them time to get back to you. Copeac isn't your own, personal affiliate network, you know.

I have no idea about how Copeac compares to MaxBounty (although I'm sure it's a very similar process), but I can tell you that, through talking with Steve and my AM Amy, I was able to explain my situation, and be accepted into MaxBounty without the need for a website (don't have one yet, just starting out), or a phone call (no service where I am at the moment).

It's not the worst thing in the world, just be reasonable and don't be a recluse. These people want to work with you too.
