Here is my plan over the next month/ I have decided to stop pushing CB products for good. I am tired of the weird fluctuations in sales. I have decided to go with physical products.

My plan to start is to build niche sites with amazon listings. I can build these pretty fast in wordpress, so I plan to have 30 - 40 over the next two weeks. After they are live, I will then work on adding unique content and moving from Amazon to CJ and others. I am just using Amazon in the beginning because I can get listings in my blog quick, and get my blog indexed quickly. Once they are indexed, I will work one at a time on the transition.

Here is where I need help. How do I manage so many blogs? I need to build backlinks to each blog. So, how should I write my plan to build backlinks to each site? How many per day? And, how much time per blog should I be spending on backlinks?

I tested this earlier in the year with 20 blogs, and my sites convert at about 3% using straight amazon listings and nothing else.

Eventually, I would like to have 100-150 sites active. I have made good money selling services, but I want to try this niche marketing stuff all the way.

Thanks

Once I have a plan in place, I will be good to go. The problem is, I have never built a backlink, so this is new to me. I am good on all other aspects, I think.

Here's some advice....don't build that many to start with.

Build - at most - three. Work on them in and out until they are really, really good. Vary things between them to see what works, etc.

Then use those as templates to build 3 more.

Then 6 more.

Then 12 more....see where this is going? The first real success I ever had with this was when I quit trying to do 100 projects half-assed (no offense to you...) and stuck with three GOOD ones.

Thanks Sharksfan. My point in trying to get a few live as quick as possible was due to the fact that Christmas was coming up, and soon a lot of people will be buying online. I can throw an amazon style wordpress blog up in about 30 minutes, including some quick promotion with webmaster tools, sitemap, and google analytics. I was then going to go back and work on them after I had a large batch up and running.

For building backlinks, try the social bookmarking route. You could also do quick commenting on blogs related to your niche.

For 40 sites, you could have a goal of building at least 1 backlink every day.

You know 30-40 sites is kinda hard to in 2 weeks. How do you plan to build good content for that? Are you paying someone?

Why don't you try making a site that does well and gets more viewers. More viewers means more converts and better SEO.

Your spreading yourself thin this way making all those site. Think about it this way. You can keep spreading the butter on toast, but you will only end up with a mess.

Take it easy or you'll burn yourself out. How about 1 website PER WEEK?

Patience is key.

I built 10 this week. I hired a content writer for some, and created auto amazon blogs for the others. Building sites is easy for me. I just use Wordpress and some plugins to automate amazon. Then I do some really good on page SEO. It takes me 30 minutes to build each site. I just ppaste the content and set the plugin to post a few amazon listings. This time also includes submoission to webaster tools and submission of sitemap, feedburner, feedagg, digg and mixx.

Its the backlink building thing I dont understand. Any help with that?

The easiest way is to pay red_virus $25. Look for him in the commerce section.

Beyond that Google "do-follow" backlinking guide - or search here. It's pretty standard stuff.

I come from the old school world where you find other sites that are in your similar arena, and personally email them that you'd like to exchange links (but make sure their link is on your site first, as it's a nice gesture) - then you wait for a reply, which may never come at all, haha - so you'd have to give a certain grace period of say a month, for the other site to read your email and place your link - then it's up to you if you want to keep their link on your site or remove it (if they do not link back).

Otherwise, if you are building all these sites, would you not link them to each other, and there you have back-links (?)

And of course, promote the hell out of your site(s) in as many ways as you can (just read the forum on the endless ways to do that), and you may be surprised that some sites may link to you naturally, because they like what you're up to.

Lastly - pay for them.
