Ski / Snowboarding Trip?

Willamette? Thought that was the valley between Ptown and Eugene....maybe Wallowas? Eagle Cap wilderness and all that shit out by John Day? That would be fucking sick, those are some badass mountains out there. Is it a riding/skiing type of party or just a partay type of party? Sounds sick either way...

Yeah its technically central oregon but since eastern oregon is so empty we tend to consider anything east of I-5 eastern oregon. Even if it's only like 50 miles.

Good to know. In Washington, Eastern Wash starts at the cascade crest. Although I'm sure there's some peeps from Seattle/Tacoma that refer to Bellevue as Eastern Washington.

spent a good amount of time discussin this with kidchaos at ASE.

I live in UT during the winters to ski, any of you who are park rats or want to charge the steeps are welcome to ski with me. Canyons is my home mountain. Did someone say TOP TO BOTTOM PARK this year? if you didnt get out to UT to ride canyons park last year or you went to park city mountain resort instead, you missed out. canyons is killin it

Grindstone where in WA you located? I'm over in the south Tacoma area going to PLU if you know where that is

Park City is great. go there every year - although prefer snowboarding at the 'bird or Brighton. Better backcountry steeps.

Revelstoke would bad ass but doubt a lot of people would go up there.

Tahoe is pretty good too. Gambling + snowboarding = WIN

always wanted to go there, looks pretty awesome. i'm more interested in big mountain, not much of a park rat

tahoe would be good b/c I know my gf won't hit the mountain much and would rather have something else to do... theres plenty there, unlike colorado mountain towns it seems (... just reminded me, i love steamboat :)

I did this last winter in Utah with a bunch of partners. I'd love to step it up this winter and rent a bigger house near the slopes. I'm in for Utah-Snowbird, Colorado-Keystone/Breckenridge, BC-Revelstoke (a bit out of the way, but supposed to be awesome).

I can arrange a house if you guys are up for it.

too bad i already live a few miles away from the biggest ski resort evar: Home Laax

if someone wants to rent up a small house there this winter, hit me up

CF, I live in North Idaho but grew up in Eastern Washington. I've been on the PLU campus a couple times, some rousing feminazi parties....<3 teh lezbianz!!!

haha yeah... PLU has some interesting characters. Cool to know someone is relatively close though!

On another slightly related note... I'm up for a new pair of Skis.

I need skis that can handle powder, some east coast groomers and the occasional off-piste stuff.

I had one person suggest Head's Monster 78's:
Head Monster iM 78 SW (red/anthracite) Skis 2009: Ski Depot / RaceSkis.com

Any other suggestions?

Here's my suggestion ;)
