How CPArev is screwing me out of $34,875.00

Hey guys well what "dollar" hasn't told you is that I have been in contact with him and this is being taken care of first thing Monday. And yesterday the advertiser he contact was not the advertiser that I worked with. This guy is jumping the gun here because he is a bit scared that I won't pay him, (only being 28 days out) which I can understand. I never stated that I didn't have the money to pay him I told him that the advertise hasn't paid me. We are a newer network and we don't have the sources to float 33k. I can assure you that I am not trying to scam anyone here. I think that everyone here knows exactly how being paid on time as a network is. Most of the time the payment to the networks by the advertisers are not on time. I am not going to let this reach a lawsuit because I am going to take care of this before it reaches that level. How many of you guys have been paid late by at network here on WF? Ok.. Don't worry "dollar" as I stated on the phone I am taking care of you first thing Monday.

Thanks!

After reading an ebook from Digital Point outlining the basics of affiliate marketing he was intrigued and decided to set up his own network.

I think it's ridiculous that people from "established" networks are in here mouthing off a guy that just got fleeced for $35k in leads + $25k in traffic costs (should he not recuperate his owed monies).

Saying shit like "oh you should use 'more established' networks" (gee I wonder who they mean?) is sad. Once upon a time, you were an unestablished network that needed to sign up affiliates. You paid, CPArev didn't. That's pretty much the only difference here. Now you're "established" because you survived your growing pains, and either CPArev will hit the skids and implode due to this, or they'll figure it out and move on.

The affiliate did his job here. He stayed in touch with his network frequently while driving this traffic, caught the CEO lying to him, and then outed the issue - with proof - to the rest of us.

Calling the affiliate out for not using a "more established" network is just silly, imo. Maybe he should have gone with CJ since they're more established? Shit I remember Flycast hosing me for at least 20 grand on more than on occasion in early '99 before CMGI picked them up. Guess I should have gone with a more established network too.

Preach!

talk about the ultimate backfire. Can't float 33k? What a joke. I know of lone affiliates who have to float amounts 10x larger than that.

The older I get, I'm amazed at how the words of wisdom my grandpa told me hold up.

"Always tell the truth my boy. Even if the shit hurts. But I tell you what, you'll sleep like a baby at night and you will always be respected. Even if the truth fucking sucks"

I think the OP is probably more pissed about the "check is in the mail" bullshit he was being fed...

Don't get me wrong, I'd be pissed as hell if my money was being held up but,

I can almost stomach this:

"Look man, I'm having cash flow problems right now because of some internaml issues, but I will pay you your money as soon as possible."

This shit angers the fuck outta me:

"Hey man check's in the mail. Ugghh... I think your check got lost.. Errr... I think I mailed it to the wrong address..."

Stand tall and take your licks if you fucked up. We all do. It's especially important to remember that when your handling peoples money. You never want people to think you might fuck them for a buck.
Especially if you need those people to make your business work.

Dollar, you're a fucking noob. Why are you crying on a forum? Do you just need a cock to suck on because you got burnt?

If he really does owe you money and you have substantiation for your claim you can file a complaint in court (aka sue him). I wouldn't do that unless I was relatively sure that he either had money in the bank or had assets that could be liquidated if you are awarded a judgment.

Bitching and whining about it on the forums just makes you look as incompetent as you really are and IS NOT going to get you paid...business is a game you can LOSE at just like you can WIN and when you lose, whining isn't going to help you at all. You can either try your luck in court or STFU and move on...consider it "tuition" for your lesson in the class of "Any moron can spend a lot of money 101", and I hope you learn or soon your screen name on here will be your truth! LOL

It's a bad idea to warn other affiliates about networks that will potentially fuck us over or don't have the funds needed to pay affiliates on time?
Yea maybe instead of posting this on wf and getting it resolved for free, he should have paid $5000 to his attorney to file a action in civil court.

You see, if its just one person saying they got burnt by network X then it's whatever - people love to complain and point the finger to mask their own stupidity, it's the American way!

Now if you get like 50+ people all saying that X network screwed them, it's different...but in none of those cases should is forum drama necessary to issue a warning. In fact, putting all this info out there on a public forum rarely helps if you do decide to sue.

Seems to me that his claim minus $5,000 is more than $0, assuming he wins and can collect on the judgment.

Dold you should send them both an invoice and when they reply to you with a "WTF?" send them some links to sign up for more shit.

You are really stupid, the point of him posting here was to warn others. his post helped me laugh about how retarded CPAREV was for lying about having a sent check out and made me sure I'd never sign up there!

Please ignore DoldGigga. He spread like a virus into the Email Forum, where we've been annoyed by his presence as well. He likes to jump into conversations, give useless input, piss off everybody with poor advice, and just hide the fact he comes from a 3rd world country and was raised by pirates and homos and was taught to suckle his milk from wolves.

NO YOU ARE STUPID!

I never used CPAREV but it doesn't take a genius to see they're don't have all their shit together. Another example of a CPA network I'd avoid...look at Affiliate Network FAQ - Ads4Dough.com website. I love their FAQ, it inspires my confidence in their ability to manage their business. I bet the guys behind that company don't spend most of their time trolling WF and blogging, rather they focus on their network...or..uh...wait...

See, you don't need to be a genius to figure this shit out. A little common sense and voila.

Hi Friend,

If I can have a moment of you're time I'd like to tell you how I lost over $23,708.97 posting links on Google....

I'm going to start adding proof to this thread, let me know when you have seen enough proof?

I'm a noob, but how does one get 10321 clicks from 1 impression?

You're a retard, because you make no sense. You said that everyone should just STFU about being scammed by a network. Well, how would we get 50+ people saying they got scammed by X network if based on your 'advice' each one should have kept their mouth shut in the first place.

The OP had every right to bring this issue to light. He gave the network owner over 30 days since the date payment was owned. That's more than enough time to come to a forum and complain about the issue. If a network takes so fucking long to pay a single affiliate, then they deserve to be raped in the open.

99.99% of the time the impressions are for the banners, he probably viewed the banner one time but never used it because he just sent traffic to the offer via the link which is where all the clicks get counted, thus throwing off the CTR :D
