How CPArev is screwing me out of $34,875.00

I am sure this is directed at me, and I don't care if he uses Copeac, ads4dough, azoogle, hydra, Clickbooth or any other established network, i am pointing out that a new network really doesnt know what they are getting in to and you're in the same boat as them in that regard. Their mistakes cost you the publisher and vice versa.

You had me till you mentioned one of those networks.

Your choice of a network to roll with is a responsibility you cannot blame on the network if they stiff you. There have been hundreds of threads of "which network to use?". Even catching 1-2 of these threads would yield the same names coming up each time.

I feel for the OP in this case, and don't think he should be blamed. But for someone to be on here as a user and read the gossip and to go against Wf's recommendations is just a bad business call. Hopefully this lesson/thread will be seen by noobs everywhere.

Stick with the majors. If you want to try the minors, due diligence required, and start slow. Don't put the pedal to the metal and over extend if you don't have a history with the network.

I have a hunch the CEO of CPARev is rushing to the bank tomorrow to qualify for a line of credit, or quick business loan, to get this taken care of. Or cashing in on some savings bonds. In either case, the fact he posted is a good sign, his biz will take a huge hit for this, but it doesnt have to be a fatal one. Lessons learned across the board.

This is why I mainly work with only one network ClickBooth

Very well said thanks. I'm starting to wonder the outcome of this DOLLAR where you at man? let us know what's up.

This is why I only mainly work with one network, the best one. Number 5 on Inc 500 Clickbooth. their signup approval process is rough but once you get approved you realize why.

P.S. I might be new on here but..

I have been doing Internet Marketing since 1999 so don't give me any crap about being a 2 post nube thanks.

We are a newer network and we don't have the sources to float 33k.

Uhh..like it's been stated then WHY are you running a network? Your main purpose is to float money to us so we don't have to deal with advertisers, and cover us even if the advertiser jumps ship.

How many of you guys have been paid late by at network here on WF?

Never been paid late. I've been not paid at all - but those networks have already been called out so I don't need to do it again.

That post really didn't help your cause. Mike and Smaxor etc, you guys should hold seminars on how to respond to posts directed at your business, very few seem to be able to do it.

Don't get me wrong. We love CB and run a huge amount of inventory though them. However, I've found from experience that the most $ to be made is by rolling with 5-10 solid networks and focusing on their own killer/exclusive/best offers.

Each network has something special: unique/exclusive offers, diff't Advertiser backbones (crucial), and diff't conversions. Some networks I only run 1 offer on, others 10-15. When you focus on only one network you make a big mistake IMO as you need to learn to juggle in this game.

It's probably going to take at least 35k for CPArev to hire a search engine reputation company in order to clear this thread out of the google results, not a very smart smart move at all by the CEO.

I agree, and this is why it is better to do things right the first time. Major networks should have online reputation management companies on payroll anyways because they get attacks non-stop for not even legit reasons.

Nothing new is up, I have not received any monies from CPArev and the only response from CPArev is from this thread.

My attorney's are moving full speed ahead with a civil case against CPArev and Dustin Cucciarre. When it goes to court, I was thinking I could 'ustream' it for everybody on WF.

This thread is 2nd position now for me (in canada)... ahahah

I think you're being a bit too litigious in this case. Had the guy not posted here, and promised a Monday deadline, fine. Have your legal eagles on standby. Why start a suit? The setup for a lawsuit is expensive. So you mean to tell me you're gonna have your attorneys file an official Complaint and bill you 5-10K before Monday? What if the guy pays then?

Bad move, IMO. I''d give him until Monday before going crazy here.

BTW had he posted in email "Monday" i'd agree he's full of shit, but the fact he posted it here means he cares (somewhat) about his reputation, whats 2-3 more days?

How many days has it been?

Very good point here by Roundabout. It can take as much as 60 to 90 days to get paid sometimes... it shouldn't and most networks do MUCH better than that... but Dollar how many days has it been?

Hey guys well what "dollar" hasn't told you is that I have been in contact with him and this is being taken care of first thing Monday. And yesterday the advertiser he contact was not the advertiser that I worked with. This guy is jumping the gun here because he is a bit scared that I won't pay him, (only being 28 days out) which I can understand. I never stated that I didn't have the money to pay him I told him that the advertise hasn't paid me. We are a newer network and we don't have the sources to float 33k. I can assure you that I am not trying to scam anyone here. I think that everyone here knows exactly how being paid on time as a network is. Most of the time the payment to the networks by the advertisers are not on time. I am not going to let this reach a lawsuit because I am going to take care of this before it reaches that level. How many of you guys have been paid late by at network here on WF? Ok.. Don't worry "dollar" as I stated on the phone I am taking care of you first thing Monday.

Thanks!

If you don't have the resources to float 10x that $330k- you HAVE NO BUSINESS BEING A NETWORK.

What value are you providing in sticking yourself in the middle? I work with those who I KNOW I'll get 6 figure payments from (weekly) long before they get paid and have the cash to do so.

Ridiculous.
