I don't use it, but I know about it. It posts on forums, guestbooks, all sorts of places. It can solve a lot of different captchas.
Because so many people use it, and have been using it, a lot of the targets are shite, and the links are worthless (IMO).
Autopligg seems to generate better results right now. It's not as sophisticated, but it does what it does well.
But again, with hundreds of spammers hitting sites 20 or 50 times a day each, most of the hosts these programs work on, will not build you links that will last long, if at all.

xrumer is hand down the best linkbuilding tool out there, it's incredibly fast and effective. Obviously to be effective you need to build your own links lists(easy with the included hrefer) and have loads of proxies.
They're constantly updating it. The latest version of xrumer implements Pligg support, I haven't tested it yet though.
The next big project they're working on with xrumer is the "Antispam" system, which will let the bot have intelligent conversations with itself on forums, automatically. I've seen it in action, and it's pretty incredible- it's one step closer to AI becoming self-aware and taking over the world

I bought AP when it came out. I couldn't get it to run fast on a WAMP install so I stopped using it.
They have since come out with a desktop version that is windows based.
From all reports I have read, it works well. It is very fast.
They have their own dedicated user forum, and to be honest, the coder was way out in front of the software with this tool. He's a very smart guy. If you're a member at Syndk8, you can ask pre-sales questions there, it is a Syndk8 sponsored product.

I bought xrumer a while back and used it a lot when I first got it, although to be honest I've neglected it as I now almost entirely focus on PPC. However, it does do what it says it does, and if you use your own proxys you can get good posting success rates.
