NEW Facebook Ads

weird..i got faster approvals at 2am (EST) this morning than I got during business hours yesterday..

too bad nothing ever converts

i looked at my ad board, of the first 9 ads I had 8 grant ads and 1 jessica simpson iq test. That's saturation right there.

I finally got today's batch of ads approved.

I'm completely new to FB, and I've had conversions on most offers I have tried so far. Not all with positive ROI, but conversions nonetheless.

Are you sure you're trying enough offers?

Same. First campaign approved today and it's converting absolutely fine, almost breaking even. Now I just gotta get the CPC down and I have a high volume campaign running.

i wrote up 20 ads last night and had all of them disapproved because I used people in the images and the the offer was direct linking to a product. I went back and made 6 more ads featuring the product in the image and got 4 of the 6 approved. My CTRs are shit though (0.03 - 0.04).

I think if I had done a lander I could have gotten away with my original ads, and I think those would have had much better CTRs. I'm going to try that tonight. I knew that direct linking on a rebill wasn't going to knock if out of the park but I figured if I had a few conversions then I would know I had a winner and that it would then make sense to build a lander for it.

all you people who suck at this need to quit. if you couldn't convert before, you won't now, but you will drive up prices and lose money.

OK WTF....

my server went down last night so i paused my campaigns...came back on this morning and i couldnt get a single impression on one of my ad groups (other ones are working perfectly). this ad group has been running for MONTHS with great CTR. i raised my bids UP .25 cents above what they were at and not a single impression after resuming it. anyone else getting this? what fixes it? i just redid the ads and resubmitted...hopefully it helps

declining ctr - why everytime i lower my initial bid my ctr falls with it? i have high enough ctr to get 0.08 clicks, why the ctr declines after i do that? low clicks are more competitive? i don't understand that. those are the same people as the people who see it when i bid the lower bids.

thx.

I was wondering the same because it's happened to me, the only thing I can think of is that when you lower your bid your ad may be shown more in the #2 or #3 spots on any given page (the #3 spot is many times below the fold) which could explain why you see a slight dip in CTR. If anyone else has another opinion on why I would like to hear it.

First post here, but I've experienced this before. No impressions for a whole day no matter what I did (pause, restart, raise bids, new ad copies, etc.). I thought it might be a billing issue (normally they charge my accnt. every evening, the morning following the one evening they DIDN'T charge me, I got 0 imp all day). I contacted my rep, he told me they couldn't view any of my campaigns, he spoke to their "engineering" division, they never figured it out.

This was about a month ago. I tried copying ads into new campaigns that day but eventually just gave up and sat it out. Not a big deal and a nice break, things resumed normally the next day.

This also happened to me today, in my two main campaigns. This time ads copied into other campaigns are running as usual while those in my two main campaigns still have 0 imp. Don't sweat it too much. Your ads will probably resume tomorrow as if nothing had happened.

Good luck.

I saw a lot of ppl bitching about not having conversions. Have patience, I don't know why but usualy in the begining the conversions are crap. I started a dating offer 2 days ago and the first day I had no conversion from 200 clicks. Yesterday and today I got 60 signups and I didn't change a thing
