NEW Facebook Ads

I just asked about how to get international offers approved since the moderators are in the US and won't see the intl pages...

2 ways to do it.

1) Cloak your links direct to the landing page (Not via you aff link).

2) Only promote products which also allow US traffic.

This alone should be common knowledge by now.

seriosuly...how hard is it to figure out what a redirect is....show them the standard offer page and when your ad is approved switch it for the aff link.

It's stupid because you can just fucking test it yourself. Is going to take you all of 15 seconds. Instead you decide to post on a forum.

hmm...spend 30 or so minutes writing ads then wait 6 hours for FB to review them..

or...

ask a very large group of people who have much prior experience doing this who are just about always available on a forum dedicated to talking about this exact sort of topic..

you're right..i'm an idiot

So you have no other ads at all. You clearly are an idiot, glad you came to that conclusion after all.

where'd that assumption come from?

can we not annoy everyone else with this gay shit?

Because if you did you could have just created a similar ad from there instead of coming up with that "30 mins for an ad and 6 hrs for approval" bs.

Anyone in Australia trying to get ringtones thru? ive been trying to get some campaigns up, get rejected everytime, also havn't seen any ringtones ads up either.

So have they laxed the rules for AU facebook or is it only US facebook?

Hey guys, got a bidding question for you.

ctr - is it based only on your initial impression boom or is it refined and judged automatically as you go along the way?

minimum bids - after you have a steady ctr, how higher than the min. bid fb suggests do you actually bid?

declining ctr - why everytime i lower my initial bid my ctr falls with it? i have high enough ctr to get 0.08 clicks, why the ctr declines after i do that? low clicks are more competitive? i don't understand that. those are the same people as the people who see it when i bid the lower bids.

thx.

Why not making some new posts on your blog about this buzz? I'm refreshing my G-Reader everyday yet hardly see a single post from ye.
I post when I actually have something to say. Honestly, I see no buzz. This is the same situation we had when facebook ads first started, but without the horrible support. Thanks for the encouragement though!
My advice is to abuse this thing as much as possible. Facebook can give a decent amount of traffic volume to power almost any campaign. Find a campaign that works and open the hoses. That is what I am doing.

I want to see a screenshot of CTR's around 3-4%.
No.

Totally from experience: the initial ctr of your ad life seems to have a lingering effect on its performance (I have an ad that went amazing at first, and now, whenever it pops up on the ad board it is at #1 position with a very low bid). Also, the ctr score is adjusted daily as well, if your ad gets 2000 impressions and no one happens to click on it, it gets buried for the day. (yes, its shitty)

Ignore the recommended bid completely. Set the bid, check it later to see if it has impressions. Adjust accordingly.

i agree w/ this. see it time and time again.

i have a set of ads that i unpause every morning (and have been for months) that are getting 0 impressions regardless of setting bids to a very high $$ amount just to test. really weird.

created copies and the new ads are live.

never seen this happen before

btw, anyone having problems with unpaused ads not going live this morning?

just wondering the same thing...unpaused some campaigns that I paused late last night. They were getting good clicks last night, but this morning, nada. 0 impressions.
