The way I see it, Jason had two ways to play it:
1) Apologize and move on.

Man although the recent issue(s) are ugly, I feeling you man, because something similar happened to me a while back (back off others don't ask or start with me now).
After we're all humans and have a life offline! Even though our ebusiness is our livelihood, still they are mayor issues that can happen (and not necesarily in jail for fraud, etc.) People jump into conclusions, I guess is just human nature to first scream: SCAM and bash you out all over the net! Due to the every day true horror stories we hear. Just like the other guys says:" when people with legit issues come up then non one beleive it". I think people love the DRAMA of this kinda situations! In this industry everyone is guilty before proven innocent.
I'm not kissing your ass now or later for you pay whatever is still unpaid to me. Since no mayors been ever reported to me, regarding with the activity from any of my sites, I assume all leads were goods. I'm not going to say who I'm I either. I just wanted to hightlight that I admire you DID gather enough courage and show your face online and communicate with the best of skills to manage the situation. So you should at least get credit for that. Control damage is always is uglier than the damage itself. So U talked, we heard, u apologize etc. That it! End of story let's move on. I strongly suggest you quit replying to others opinions, as a childdish back and forward thingy. This is a circus.
