See, there's this thing called fraud. I don't know if uttering that would would be taking the discussion too far. However, you are under the age of 21, so perhaps it is prudent to risk sounding like your father. I'm good at that, btw.
Whatever. Fraud is something people usually believe someone else is doing. That's because they don't get just how simple it is to commit fraud. Did you know that fraud is as simple as accepting money for an order of a product or service, then not delivering as promised? Quite often, the onus is on you to step forward and offer refunds. Especially if you have gone on to decide to can the whole idea.
Look, you might feel like you provided what you said you would for the couple of months your forum ran in its paid form. However, what you believe isn't as important as what your customers believe. The customer may not always be right, but they damned well better come first. There's a whole alphabet soup of agencies who love to enroll people into their AEP* who pull stupid shit like not delivering on promises where money has changed hands.
You might not want to stop at ending this failed endeavor. You might want to refund back all the money you bilked out of people before you went on to use it to fund your other failing endeavors. It's obvious from your complete and total success at making yourself a joke in the industry (for the ridicule is not isolated to this forum) that you lack integrity in your business dealings. Any child who would take money from paying customers then fail to deliver as promised because their "own stuff required more attention" is a thief.
They pay you. You do the job. THEN you move on to your extra-curricular activities. For that is what anything else is until you have satisfied paying customers.
