currently just got set up with prosper202 so i know I am stripping the ref. URL good, but I also want to look at conversion tracking on my own too.

I dont want to use Google/Yahoo for pixel tracking, so can anyone recommend a good 3rd party app that lets me run my own pixel tracking that I can then send to direct track networks for conversion tracking?

Also, anyone know a good way to mask subId's when I pass this info from the prosper202 links into a network so they cant easily read my subIDs.

Can't read your subids? Then how the fuck are they supposed to uniquely identify your conversions?

im not talking about masking the from prosper202, but from the network...

i.e. say I bid on "horseshoes" as a keyword in Google, i dont want to pass that to prosper202 as is, or else the network will see that in my subid on their end.

I was wondering if any one had something automated to change horseshoes into 8878665652 and keep record of that in a DB for later use so i could pass 8878665652 as my subid

shit, never mind.. i see how subIDs work now in prosper202... didnt realize they just pass a number to the affiliate network and that number is tied to your real keyword.. nice fucking touch

Why don't you want to use Google/Yahoo conversion tracking when available?

You have to sign in to your affiliate network and pull up the campaign and show only conversions. You should then have a listed of the converting subids. IE:
2574
2588
2620

Then signin to your self hosted prosper account and enter in the subids. Now when you select the show conversions option, it should show the info for your conversions on that campaign. You can then see what keywords are perfoming, track ROI, ect.

thanks all, i got it understood now when i finally did a sale.

i dont like using google and yahoo for conversion tracking.. does anyone know of any app besides Analytics or Google/Yahoo that gives out a pixel tracking code?

looking for something generic like statcounter or phpmyvisits or something similar with a pixel tracking option for "goal pages"
