Well, my issues with phpBay were apparently related to the fact that I am a total dumbass. :Yahoo_29:
Apparently, somewhere along the line when I upgraded, I didn't have the auction.php file in the right place and the ioncube folder wasn't in the right place either.
I was getting lots of clicks but no $$$. I spent this morning fixing my 10 phpBay sites.
Now we'll see if we can get back on track. Sheesh.

UPDATE: Seems like ebay switched over some of their categories the other day. It screwed me n my fender site, none of my auctions were showing. i had to update all my categories, was a little annoying.
If you have auctions not showing this may be the case. Check your sites!!

wordpress theme and phpbay
Very nice site you have. Im going to use both the wordpress theme with phpbay pro.
The theme is working great. Quick question for you.
Everything works great in IE.
When clicking links with firefox or safari though it hangs with the blue gear
icon in the upper left hand corner.
Did you ever get this problem?

Bout $100 so far in may (golf ball site). But about $50 was from some PPC testing.
Keep in mind this is the first month of the site, i expect my earinings to go way up in about a month or two, when i start ranking really well for some of my core keywords..
How did you get the slug to stay the same for two categories with the same name but with different parents?
e.g.
Discount Titleist Golf Balls | Discount Golf Balls
and

Wordpress keeps changing it for me. And I'm not sure which plugin could hack it.

Yep. Join the club. I had about $450 clicks and so far, since April, I made $1.27.
I will say that I fixed my phpBay installation last week (I didn't have auction.php in the main folder) and yesterday I made $28 on one of my sites.
I'm still waiting for proof that this is a long-term fix, however.

238 clicks really isn't that many. I have over 18 thousand clicks so far in may from my two sites and i have made about $175 so far.
Do you have auctions on your homepage? make sure you at least have 2 auction results on ur home page so u can entice people to click right away.
$175 from 18,000 visitors is absolutely horrible. If you are getting that much traffic, don't waste it by sending it to ebay. Hell, I bet adsense would earn you more.
I actually taught my idiot wife how to setup a PHPBay site. Took about an hour. She now asks me what I think about the niche, we do some research, and if it's a winner, I'll install it, skin it, and she'll create the content and pages. Took her 3 hours to do 2 domains this weekend. PPC @ $0.10/click has already driven 450 clicks to the two sites. 67 click troughs to Ebay and $76 in revenue. Wife, who is a non techie, is super excited. I've given her $1500 spend limit over the next 30 days to create sites, buy domains and PPC, etc. What a wonderful world it would be if we sat together all day, pushing links to ebay affiliate account.
