Trump for US President?

It was pretty apparent on election day 2012 when Karl Rove on Fox News assured everyone that Mitt would win in an epic landslide, even as returns were coming in from FL and OH showing Obama the inevitable winner, but in 4 years TV has advanced 0 compared to the internets:

It is very rare for a network to let people on to talk about other networks, especially calling out people by name.

to You, and Barbra Streisand, and Cher, and all the other clowns who've said that but don't because they pussy out..... CALL.

Back when I was in college in 2004, it was Bush vs John Kerry and everyone kept threatening to "move to Canada" if Bush was re-elected.

I would respond with "If Libertarian Presidential candidate Michael Badnarik isn't elected U.S. president, I'm moving to Hong Kong!"

Then I moved to Hong Kong. None of my peers moved to Canada like they promised they would.

It's easy to say some empty words, it's a lot more difficult to actually take action and go through the immigration process.

I would say this is pretty much the same for all ex-pats who have strong political beliefs.

But for most people, the one's that say things like that but never take action, have excepted this is part of the "game". Pick a team and cheer when they win and whine when they lose but never actually do anything about the situation.

Trump is the same it's just on the other end, people rode Obama's dick like he was the second coming of Jesus, now the right will do it for Trump.

But nothing will change except the names and faces.

Sorry to break it to you people, but Trump if he wins, will be nothing more than Obama was. A guy that will do and say anything to win, but will tow the line after that.

Pepper your Angus.

I found it amusing how trump justified his bankruptcies because they were legal.

The good ol' Nuremberg defense. Segregation, slavery, apartheid, holocaust, not ingesting certain plants, and dancing with the stars were all legal at one point in time too, brah.

If you derive morality from law, you're gonna have a bad time.

My hypothesis is that the center and bulk of the Republican voting block is split among the 10+ candidates currently standing, whereas the fringe elements are consolidating around Trump.

Once the field begins to thin out, I won't be surprised to see Jeb take the lead.

That's certainly what the RINOs hope for and there's some of that for sure, Ron Paul also had great polling numbers until it got down to fewer.

I think you are wrong about the 'fringe' being behind Trump. It's the other way around, Trump is actually very centrist on most issues. You have to factor in that the majority of 'centrist' Americans are against illegal immigration. It's the Washington elites which are fringe in their open border policies.

Trump is actually someone who can probably nab quite a few blue collar Democrats, particularly if the Democratic party continues its hilarious victim olympics:

First, I highly doubt the Republican can win. They can't even choose on their candidates.
Also Trump is a clown. Sure, many people like what he says but I don't think people will actually be able to vote for him. I think he is just sticking around for the show.

No question, the GOP will win the 2016 election. Democrats had it for 8 years, and now the pendulum swings, and it's the Republicans turn. Just the way these things go.

Trump appears to be leading the polls in the Republican race. Seriously, if you Americans vote Trump in for President, you're officially retarded.

I see this "Trump is a clown" argument a lot, and while I'm not a Trump groupie, I have to laugh.

He's running against career politicians... professional liars... the true scum of the earth... people who've never accomplished anything except blatantly lying to enough fools to get elected to increasingly higher positions in that lameass bullshit institution we call government.

Let's not pretend his competition on either side of the aisle is in any way solid relative to your "clown" label.
