At Witts end with my network

Millions of affiliate marketers WASTE THEIR, yes THEIR money then by going with these shady companies...
The only reason Copeac exists is to bring Ads to Publishers to Promote... With out no promotions, they get jack shit, squat, zero, 0, goose egg.

Copeac can not provided solid statistics on traffic that filters through their own link? What fucking good are they then?

Thats right.... its because you get paid $X/Lead and they get paid Y% of $x/lead

I understand you frustration, but in this instance its the advertiser that's pulled a fast one on every network running the campaign. Give us time to figure out what's going on with it.

I dont really think either of the two links you provided prove "Enough" of anything...

and btw - Frustration is just the tip of the iceberg

Nah I think you misunderstood. You can rant all you want, I would if I was losing money. I merely provided the links so people could see these suckers are shit.

Sorry anoko...

Yea I could tell by the 25 fresh spam mails in my account this morning...

I believe their opt-out is not working either?

so you lost 1500 clicks to elitemate, big deal switch to another dating offer or network.. you need to test offers in anycase, there are too many variables involved to just assume that you send leads and you get paid. Test, if its shit move on.

Again, what the fuck is the network collection a % of my commission for?
Like I said, I could see doing it if I had a direct relationship with the advertiser. BUT I DONT... COPEAC DOES.... simple

Is this dating offer still "available" on the networks..?

If so, then that's bullshit, and it should be pulled by ALL networks that know the tracking is screwed immediately.

Its all too easy for any network to say: "Yeah we're investigating a potential tracking problem, bear with us", but if there's NO WARNING on your offers that the tracking is fucked, then you should reimburse our PPC loss - simple as that.

Obviously they are trying to pull a fast one. BAN THEM from your network - I don't think there can be that much to investigate.

And I think all the major players should run their own tracking pixels, ... pass on a list to the advertisers at month end for zero payment (testing purposes), with it made extremely clear if more than 5% of these test fail, then they will be booted from the network and BANNED.

Basically, if the advertisers want to play the game, then get your fucking shit in order before you bring your offer to the network.

Affiliates should NOT be the ones "testing" this shit out for the networks, ... we expect to trust the integrity of the networks we choose to join.

</end rant> !

This is why you do a test run on the offer before going balls-out....who the hell runs an offer through 1500 click , then realized its not paying out?!?

100-200 clicks is enough data to decide whether to stop promoting or to test the offer yourself.

Like what AdJumpCM said EliteMate offers is currently having a problem with all affiliate networks. So the merchants are screwing the affiliate network over too not only yourself!

By the looks of it, mkrongel is trying to help you out in every way possible but you're just being a bitch!

das my .02!

Also
dealing with networks or anyone else in business in the manner you have will get you fuck all as you have seen.

If you have a problem look at it from all the involved parties perspectives rather then just your own. Assuming that copeac is purposely fucking you right or wrong will get you nowhere.

The affiliate game / landscape is full of shitty offers so its on you to test offers and make sure they work.

like it or not copeac as well as every othernetwork will have shit offers that you have to avoid.

I think this is very simple... yet no one understands except a select few...

Is this not an issue of negligence if the fucking PREZ says "yes its fucked..." but they do not remove it?

They are blatantly offering something they know DOES NOT TRACK LIKE THEY TELL YOU IT WILL...

We've had EliteMate pulled since last night, and while I can't necessarily speak for other networks, we're seriously questioning whether or not it's going to go live again. EliteMate likes to make it work and so we run it (affiliates like the $5+/lead payout) and then pull the tracking midway through. That's not official, mind you, just what I've noticed.

However, in regards to Copeac's position (dropping the OP as an affiliate), I don't know what kind of reaction the OP was expecting. Communication is important here, especially about stuff like this.

You're right about networks leaving offers up that don't track. Makes no sense. As soon as someone complains about an offer and the network can confirm it's not tracking, it should go down and be re-directed no questions asked. This is easy to do and would save the AM's the trouble of everyone else complaining also. At the very least they should flag it somehow or sent an email out.. instead they leave it up for everyone to try and waste money on.

I don't see any reason why copeac would intentionally leave non-tracking offers as they are.. If the offers aren't tracking correctly, they won't get paid for the leads themselves either..

Exactly

So it looks like Mike took care of this... giving me a 6% turn around on clicks

Copeac has took action in deactivating Elitemate - Seconds after I got the email from Copeac letting me know the leads were credited.

I am happy with the end result even is it meant getting bas boot...

One question still remains... why did it take this for copeac to take action with elite mate?

Bill this week is a busy week for all in our industry. Monday and Tuesday was adtech, and half of the AM team is with me in Vegas at blog world. We credited you without getting a credit from elite mate. Alex and his team were trying to get elite mate to respond about the issue, i took it upon myself to resolve this issue without an actual resolution from the advertiser. The credit comes form us not elite mate, who knows if elite mate will ever credit the leads.

Patience is important, and i think we said we will work on this when you contacted us about it, i dont recall the day you contacted me. Traveling has me a bit off, but we wouldnt forget about the issue and would ensure it was resolved, i think you more than anyone should know this considering other issues we have resolved in the past and i would have thought based on previous experiences with us you would have trusted us to do the right thing instead of going out and bashing individuals in our office and sending emails threatening to sue or take legal action due to the tracking issues with elitemate, as well as starting this thread and pointing it out to us in your emails.

We asked you to provide us with the link you used but your response was we should have it. The reason we ask is to ensure its formatted properly and to test the actual link you used, had you worked with us instead of against us we wouldnt be talking through a thread on wicked fire.
