Because I buy Facebook Ads (as well as Google Adwords and advertising.com) legitimately for my offers. People like Martin inflate the cost per click since they can outbid me at zero risk. I can make a profit since I have complete control over the offer, but I don't appreciate having to compete with the likes of Martin. I couldn't be happier that he is going to be made an example of.

Martin is nothing but a poser and a simple minded conman. He has no true insight in this industry.

I don't know much about this realm, but are district US judges usually this cruel? Or is he simply pissed off, and doesn't like Martin? Read through that PDF, and there's quite a few personal jabs at Martin.

Oh baby if you waste the court's time, then you're going to get a very harsh treatment from the judge. That's just how it goes. Judges can do whatever they want in THEIR court. Personally I think Martin got off easy. The judge actually is giving him a chance to do the right thing and pay off Facebook's legal fees. That's already extremely generous.

Besides we're all taking jabs at Martin's expense. Why can't the judge join in on the fun? He's probably lurking in this thread.

Martin was an idiot for going sovereign; especially since the judge has real sovereign powers unlike Martin.

Opinions. I gave you mine. Yes, it's generally a simple matter to get a DJ thrown out; especially when the summons is at issue (third-party delivery, etc). The guy admits to receiving it. He hired Costello and continued to file bogus docs with the court, even after being admonished with the ruling, only to send the crazy 8/7 filing. He signed all the docs and hinted at hindering the discovery. Attempts to extort the court.

There is no legal basis to toss it out, but as all things go (in court), it's the judge's call.

Normally I would agree, but he's gone too far here. We'll see.
