Stepping back a bit, it's pretty amusing how easily Joehero got such an emotional backlash. Defensive much? Have an objective look at the way you're reacting.

You make a good point, but I have observed that the biggest superficial promoters of morality tend to actually be the biggest degenerates. Real moral people are dedicated to doing moral acts, not condemning greed.

To quote someone smarter than myself:

“It is a self-deception of philosophers and moralists to imagine that they escape decadence by opposing it. That is beyond their will; and, however little they acknowledge it, one later discovers that they were among the most powerful promoters of decadence.” ― Friedrich Nietzsche, The Will to Power

I wonder what his next character's gonna be. DiCaprio played an airman too, so maybe...

Haven't been here in a minute - funny how history repeats itself on this forum re big personalities going down in flames. Shame I actually liked dude and thought he was cool, kinda surprised really he seemed passive/tooSweet to pull shit like this.

am not happy anyone is getting fed sentences for making a plan of above average intelligence and executing it with below average intelligence.

I'm happy that I've enough layers of protection and offshore servers to never have to worry about this kind of mess.

I'm sure any people here who do any kind of dirt feel more blessed that they got skipped over in the Fed Wheel of Fortune than "amgz im so happy some manlet went to jail and will now have to get boobs tattooed on his back".

PS - and if they are vicious little fatbag sadsacks who are happy at his troubles, they probably have more complicated personal problems. i knew dat feel before i left North America and went all zen.

False impersonation to secure great sums of working capital - a plan of above average intelligence? I don't think so, V.

That's all a morality issue - his execution of getting the sums of money sucked, but I still think the idea was above average intelligence.

95% of the people here buy BST threads to maintain their SEOs for a living [I know who you are for years lulul]

The other 5% have call centers, spam 10k a day giving no fucks about jelly people who'd take the 10k a day themselves in a flash [just bitching cuz can't figure out the path], have physical prods or know some connections and are smart enough to make themselves middlemen for a profit.

From a logic point of view - his scheme doesn't fall into the 95% average being, it took a few extra hours of thinking. Putting his name on everything instead of using proxy peoples or companies was, on the other hand, dumb as shit.

All the other stuff like selling garbage FB accs to fellow IMers for 30K a pop, yeah, that shit is scummy and no excuse, greedy, bad mgrunin. Should've thought up a penny stock mailing list instead - still a scam, but the people throw their money at you forever.

One more time.

Joy Jones works at XYZ Marketing. She has her profile on XYZMarketing.com's 'who we are' page and her email is joyj@xyzmarketing.com.

Now, spoofing a fictitious joy@xyzmarketing.com in order to have Facebook advance tens of thousands of dollars of credit is dumber stealing a car.

Both can line your pockets if you don't get caught. Both clearly not worth it when you get caught.

If 'X-factor' = getting caught ... than Mgrunin's above average planning sucked fucking balls. He could have stolen cars in relative anonymity.

Risk/reward of MGrunin's plan

Upside, fabulousness:
- rent luxury cars.
- pimp out sister

Downside, life ruined:
- Now Facebook's personal poster boy against fraud
- Federal charges loom
- National notoriety as a scumbag
- Sub-pewep status on WickedFire, now inspiring graphic gay gifs instead of option trading enthusiasm
