Have to be stingy somewhere, right? Hah.

But in all seriousness, it was because I read that stores receive a big shipment of the consoles for Black Friday. I didn't care for any discounts on the unit, more about actually just finding one available. There are plenty on eBay, but I do not have an eBay nor a Paypal account and don't want to hassle myself.

It's going to be hard getting a PS4 for awhile (at least Jan imo). XBO would be easier. Try Craigslist. You should be able to get one for around ~600-650. I wouldn't go over that.

Not as bad as I thought...

$399.99 retail.

Prices sold on ebay (in hand, etc):

$555- $600 is the for the past 25+ listings and further.

.....

Did the market die down a bit or something? Or are there too many being sold?

I remember the past few years these consoles would sell for 3x retail on eBay since they were so limited. ~$1200.
(Err wait maybe that was around xmas time, and you are right.. I bet they'll hit $900-1K again in a few weeks)

...

You'd be smart to buy up 10 of them @ 555. = $5,550.

Take advantage of eBay's 30 Day refund policy/seller protection, lol.

Wait right before Xmas for them to hit $900.

$3,450 PROFIT.

And if that doesn't work out... You can always return them back to the ebay seller at ZERO loss.

Basically risking it with no risk.
