Giant centipedes freak the shit out of me.
Y'all got some nasty spiders in Canada like the Brown Recluse and Black Widow plus rattlesnakes and scorpions.
House centipedes are weird, cause if you smack them they turn to dust. We've got them here too. Got some scorpions and big spiders here in Spain, but fortunately we don't see them that often. We've got pretty big roaches that come in the house form outside, but the cat makes quick work of them.

there are more then plenty of them in thailand, kill them when they get in the garage.
Had one of them end up in bucket that we use for waste oil and it was about on foot long..
