DistilledU is going free... | distilled

Distilled is one of the largest and most respected SEO agencies in the US and Europe - really smart folks there.

I've already watched a bunch, there is some really amazing content in there for anyone new starting out or advanced looking to pick up some new tricks.

We’ve love for you to come and try out DistilledU for yourself. Sign up for your free trial in advance now to join us for the virtual open day in a few weeks time ...
Maybe I repped too soon. I can't seem to get access without a subscription. Is this only available for people who've signed up beforehand?

I don't think so... I signed up with the free account and I'm able to watch no problem. don't worry about the rep my friend just looking to share knowledge.

I signed up but it doesn't give me any options to look around for free. All roads lead to the subscription page w/o any coupons codes or free-trail options. Maybe I'm just not finding the right page?

I clicked on "read more and enroll" (while logged in) and instead of enrolling in the paid membership, it took me to a page with 3 tabs

SEO101
FurtherSEO
Advanced SEO

Which are normally grayed out in the free membership

SEO 101 | DistilledU (should be the link)

If not one of the c-levels is on G+ answering questions, I'd hit them up with an email if you still dont see it, I know they have been pushing it for the past week

You should see this at the top:

Welcome to the DistilledU Open Day! For one day only, DistilledU is free for anyone to try out. Take a look regular and interactive modules in both our SEO101 and Further SEO course, and also see the list of training videos we have on offer. You can then sign up for a full account to continue using this material when our open day is over.

Works. +more rep. Thanks!

Edit: Bleh - can't rep twice. Many thanks for the share.

+rep thanks for the share. Don't have time to look through everything now, but I created the demo account and scraped all the pages.

Distilled are kind of like the Brit version of SEOMoz.

Didn't watch any videos, but read some of their blog posts and it's pretty basic whitehat knight stuff going on there.

Over $1000 for one of their coming conferences and they don't rank for SEO or any other major terms btw.

I watched a few of the non-popular/random people for a bit, but it's a ton of fluff.. Plus I HATE the British/London accent, ha.. But there are quite a few gems in some of the videos they are hosting. Just watched 2 full talks a bit ago, and they were awesome.. It was the same person though..

Only value you're going to find is A. How to run a business or B. Doing white-hat legit SEO the right way... Both of which I think are valuable/warranted, lots of ideas to gain. Just be careful what you watch, some of them are boring, and promise big with the title, but really fail to deliver anything at all..

Overall, worth the two videos I watched for sure.. Also I should note.. I hate watching videos, I'd rather be working, so keep that in mind. Don't really care much for SEO, but I still make it happen.. Mostly love the ideas/branding stuff.
