I think they were under $20 when I first read Luke's guide to BTC and thought to myself "I'll play around with buying some soon".

As with stocks that have a very thin float (quantity), coupled with high demand, you can have huge moves in both directions. Chasing bitcoins could be perilous, buying on panic/pullbacks could be smart. Still not sure what to think about them.
