Hi

This question is very basic i think..I have a blog on Recipes - that has all info about chicken recipes , beef recipes , rice recipes , salad recipes etc, but how can i make it come on google front page when people type any keyword like "Chicken recipe " , or "Beef recipe"

Should i DO SEO with keyword like " recipes " , "good recipes"

OR

Should i do SEO with Keyword like " Chicken recipes " , "Beef Recipes"

So when people type Chicken Recipes , my post on my website comes up ?

So , say i do Directory submissions for the keyword "Chicken Recipe" with my Chicken recipe sub page URL , so should i DO Directory Submissions fr different terms for different pages ,like "BeeF recipe" for Beef recipe sub page ?

Thanks for guidance..

With the latest Google updates, you'll want to make sure you don't get hit with any over-optimization problems. I attempt to use the following scenario when link building (backlinking ratio):

40% - Brand Name = Wicked Fire
40% - Direct URL = http://www.wickedfire.com/
10% - Short Tail keyword (Internet Marketing)
10% - Long Tail keyword (Internet Marketing Forum)

That's the plan I use, and it makes sure I never get hit with "over-optimization". It also helps hide from my competitors the keywords I am going after.

Also, I recommend going through the Enlightened Section and Traffic and Content sections of WickedFire.com first, before going all out. The path you are going down is going to lead to you several SEO penalty, from what I've gathered from your post.

Good luck.
