POF Conversions Plummet on Weekends?

Yeah, it's definitely not the CPM bid...I've tried several different intervals. Again, the clicks are there, just the conversions are terrible.

I haven't fooled with Frequency Cap much, just tried 5 and 8. I've tried different login counts, but wasn't consistent enough to note anything honestly. I was trying to think of a way to target common weekday users during the weekend....I thought maybe increasing the login count much higher might do this.

Like guerilla said, time for something weekend specific.

What's different intervals? if you go up or down like $0.10 chances are you won't see much of an effect.. especially if you factor in guys who ONLY RUN ON WEEKENDS BECAUSE ITS SO GOOD.

I can't tell you how to run your business but I hope you're giving it an honest try before concluding otherwise.

Thought I might update this since I figured out the main reason I was having issues. (This isn't particularly a fix for the weekend issue, just the campaign in general)

Turns out I was running my traffic way too broad and the payout for the dating offer I am running happens to be like 3X the norm. Because of these two reasons, along with some fairly good creatives, I was pulling traffic super fast and getting lucky on and off...it was extremely unpredictable.

Overall I was profiting, but you can't scale something inconsistent. To be honest, I'm extremely inpatient...almost at an immature level, so naturally I was opening up the campaign and letting it run out within an hour or two.

Now I've narrowed down my targeting significantly. I am seeing great consistency along with a 600%+ ROI. (which is fucking awesome), but on the downside, I'm only getting only like 15-20 clicks a day. This might be a good thing though, less burnout.

I can't seem to find a way to open the campaign up without losing my CTR/Conversions, but fuck it I'll just duplicate the process and make 10 more unique campaigns. The process I use for creating my campaigns and tweaking them is pretty damn successful, I just need to be more patient.

I'm thinking about trying to move the campaign over to FB as well and hit the same demographics, but I've never has much success with CPM on FB.

15-20 clicks?

Dude you should retire now.

Spending 0.68 and making $8 - $12 daily from a single campaign isn't all that terrible. It seems scalable as well. PPC isn't my main source of income, so maybe I'm not stressing about it as much as I should be.

If you have 600% ROI, you have room to broaden it out. I mean, even if you make 100% ROI, if your bottom line is bigger, then it's worth it.

Yeah, I'd rather have tons of traffic and a 100% ROI. I'll delicately try and open it back up and see what happens.

yea this is what's known as "part time affiliate marketers" going on POF and doing campaign research clicking the fuck out of our offers...somewhere someone has a fucking blog that told them to do that probably...

on a separate note, time of day and day of the week is very specific to the traffic source (mainly) followed by demo, country, and lastly offer.

i have one offer in your niche and i make all my skrilla thurs-saturday night (international) and during the week the impressions drop off.

it seems like you have an overall better understanding of your target demo, and if you fundamentally "get it" you will be able to transfer your offer with creatives to other sources, and figure how to scale up.

dumb question but have you tried copying your entire campaign a couple times and running them concurrently? separately?

im guessing you set your impression distribution set to "even" as opposed to "asap," added a few more criteria and found your sweet spot. good job on the 600%ROI those numbers are very realistic and i know a few people that are doing that % and higher on fucking SICK scales.
